“Sushi Town in Costa Mesa was such a nice surprise! It’s right by the I-55 freeway, kind of easy to miss, but totally worth finding. From the moment we walked in, the staff were super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home.
We started with the yellowtail collar appetizer, which was amazing — perfectly grilled, crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Then we tried a few nigiri pieces like fatty tuna, negi toro, and fatty yellowtail, and wow — everything was so fresh and just melted in our mouths. The Edo Mae combo was also fantastic, a great mix of traditional and flavorful pieces that showed off the chef’s skills.
We finished it all off with some nice warm sake, which was the perfect way to end the meal.
Honestly, Sushi Town feels like a hidden gem right off the freeway. Great sushi, amazing service, and a cozy vibe — can’t wait to come back!“

“So glad I finally stopped by to try it out! I went with a lunch special 2 fish, onion rings and zucchini fries. Just wow! Best onion rings of my life!! The price was very reasonable! Its a small establishment so best for couples or small groups. It definitely has the vibe of the 90s I loved it! No crazy music playing. Just a good small diner. Look forward to coming back!“

Their quality crispiness and taste is so much better than anything else I’ve had nearby and I’m not even a seafood person, yet I still find myself coming back here all the time. Pretty much everything on the menu is a unique blend of flavors. They feature three different mole sauces which were all good. I had the trabajo with my dish which had delicious flavor. “I've been here several times and the food is always cooked perfectly and tastes great. I've ordered several different dishes, and my favorites have been their protein bowls and their battered fish tacos which are perfectly crispy. My only real complaint is that I wish it was spicier or that they offered a hot sauce (they might, but I've never seen it). I will say it does get a bit expensive, but I'm willing to pay for this quality and quantity of food. Also, the service has always been excellent and very helpful.“

“Food is consistent. The last time we were here was pre-covid.

The ordering system takes a few trys to get used to, but this gentleman, Jesus made sure everything went smoothly.

On top of the food being delicious, Jesus, and his team made sure our experience here was top notch.

Edit: Prior to visiting pre-covid, we popped in last week and was helped by Marie. She was the reason why we wanted to dine in, again.

“Used to enjoy coming here but recently there food has been declining. Chicken used to taste like it was actually grilled and would be very favorable. Now its taste frozen and has this wierd after taste. Their rice is a bit to chewy.Update* Huge improvement since last time I came. Which ever cook you have now, keep him. Food was amazing once again.
