“Guy running the register tonight (don't think he had a name tag) was very helpful. The deal on the app said a free shrimp skewer with any meal. We got two meals and just one skewer. Not sure what happened but he added it no issue. Very good service and always good food.“

“So glad I finally stopped by to try it out! I went with a lunch special 2 fish, onion rings and zucchini fries. Just wow! Best onion rings of my life!! The price was very reasonable! Its a small establishment so best for couples or small groups. It definitely has the vibe of the 90s I loved it! No crazy music playing. Just a good small diner. Look forward to coming back!“

“I cannot get enough of this place. This is my favorite fish and chip spot in California. Their quality crispiness and taste is so much better than anything else I’ve had nearby and I’m not even a seafood person, yet I still find myself coming back here all the time. “We were hungry and this was close with a good review. Come here if you are looking for something different than the regular Mexican fare. Pretty much everything on the menu is a unique blend of flavors. They feature three different mole sauces which were all good. I had the trabajo with my dish which had delicious flavor. So if you are looking for an adventure it's a good pick.“

“This was really a great experience. The burgers were thicker than any typical theme park burger. The burger was prepared perfectly, with care. This was not another one of many burgers slapped on a grill an cooked en masse. The chicken sandwich was also very taste and prepared just right. This meal was a real treat. The gentleman taking our order was very cheerful and engaged. We spoke briefly with the chef while he was wrapping up our order. He was engaging and fun also. After our delicious meal I walked back up to tell them how pleased we were! A great spot!“

“We created our own crab boil with medium heat. I have to say it was the best thing I’ve ever eaten!! Fried fish was fried crispy, crispy enough to add to the delicious garlic butter. Our son had the calamari and enjoyed it very much.

“I hadn’t been here in a long time and decided to stop by for a quick dinner. One of the first things I noticed was that they had switched to self-order kiosks. It actually made ordering much easier. Since I don’t come here often, I wasn’t sure what to get, but having the full menu with pictures and prices on the screen made it easy to look through everything. After just a few taps, my order was placed.

When the food came out, it reminded me why I liked this place. The fresh white fish over rice with vegetables was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh, and the flavors worked really well together. The portions were satisfying without being too heavy.

The restaurant was also very clean, spacious, and well organized. I even noticed they have an outdoor patio, which is a nice bonus if the weather is nice. Overall, everything from the ordering process to the food made for a great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend giving this place a try.“

“Used to enjoy coming here but recently there food has been declining. Chicken used to taste like it was actually grilled and would be very favorable. Now its taste frozen and has this wierd after taste. Their rice is a bit to chewy.Update* Huge improvement since last time I came. Which ever cook you have now, keep him. Food was amazing once again. Update: 3 years later and this place is still one of my favorite places 🥰
We ordered dinner from here today and last week. Food is always clean, light, and yummy! I love their bowls and tacos. My 5-year-old is addicted to their shrimp skewers!
Manager was awesome today. He service was outstanding!
By the way, portions are big compared to price! You feel full because of the amount of protein, and sometimes you have some food left in your bowl.

One thing I'd change about California Fish Grill is the plastic food containers... I believe healthy food should be served in healthier containers.
