“This is take out only. No seating even for wait. The Catfish was good crispy hot seasoned well especially for a person with high blood pressure. My 2nd time here 1st time too hungry to care or pay attention. Entire meal good except fries were barely warm.
I enjoyed my meal . Will continue to visit.“

“The couple that run this place are so kind and good at what they do. The food is amazing here and well priced. They have a great daily special for$9.50 as of 11/2025 that includes 2pc of fish, 3pcs fried zuchinni, cup of very good coleslaw and a healthy portion of fries. The batter on the fish and zuchinni is light and airy, very crispy and exactly what you crave when thinking of fish and chips! They have a great tartar sauce and malt vinegar to go with it. The one thing I really appreciate about this place is they automatically bring you everything you need to dress up your plate when eating in. A great place overall that just hits the nail on the head!!“

Second of all, the staff welcoming and friendliness made the visit special, including insights of the neighborhood living and general culture in Long Beach. “Came here for a business dinner and was seated outside on a beautiful evening. Started off with a mix of oysters and the Cevichos. Both were excellent. Then the 5 of us went different directions for our mains, but my Squid Ink Linguini was top notch! Our server this evening was Chase K. He did excellent and we would love to come back here. “Definitely worth coming here for the food but for better service and overall experience, I'd recommend going to the Buena Park location which is in the mall across the street from Knott's Berry Farm.
Here at the Long Beach location, we had to wait almost an hour to be seated and our food took forever as well. Then once we had gotten our food, they never came to check up on us and I kept having to flag down our waiter for my family's needs. But the food was really really good. 10/10.“

I am super surprised that this little place has the best fish fried fish in Long Beach maybe even LA is bomb and the sides were good too.“

“I go for the chicken and fries its always fried fresh the price is reasonable cause u cant pay for getting food right out the skillet thank Louisiana fried chicken/Roma pizza they have a great deall in mini pizza and drink I get that for my grandson he really enjoy it“

“I really enjoy my dinner at King Fish House. I wasn’t sure when I got there. We made reservations and the hostess decided to place my husband and I on the bar side. With sports and games on. I don’t know why she thought that’s was a good idea since we both was dress for dinner and not to watch a game on tv. I made reservations for a good dinner table. Maybe she didn’t like the mix race situation. But I seated myself. With respect to her. It all turn out very nice. Our waitress and food was amazing. Will definitely go back. Bad attitude hostess is not a factor.“
