“Both the fish and the fries were as delicious as I’ve ever tasted - crispy on the outside while moist on the inside. The lady taking my order was cheerful and polite. Tables and chairs are bare bones, but very clean. Because the restaurant is located in a small strip mall near HWY 405 on ramps, the number of parking spaces are inadequate and may require patience to find an open one. Nearby on ramps to HWY 405 were very convenient for egress.“

“This is take out only. No seating even for wait. The Catfish was good crispy hot seasoned well especially for a person with high blood pressure. My 2nd time here 1st time too hungry to care or pay attention. Entire meal good except fries were barely warm.
I enjoyed my meal . Will continue to visit.“

Second of all, the staff welcoming and friendliness made the visit special, including insights of the neighborhood living and general culture in Long Beach. “My husband and I just ate here tonight and it was excellent! We had the best service ever with a Server/Supervisor named Juan! He has a very vibrant and very positive outlook. His parents should be very proud of him! This man is going to go far in life! And the food was also very delicious! My husband had the fish and fries. I had 1 pound of shrimp with Kickin’ sauce, medium style with a side of rice and corn. We left feeling great! I wish the very best to Juan and his endeavors. Thank you.“

“Came here for a business dinner and was seated outside on a beautiful evening. Started off with a mix of oysters and the Cevichos. Both were excellent. Then the 5 of us went different directions for our mains, but my Squid Ink Linguini was top notch! Our server this evening was Chase K. He did excellent and we would love to come back here. Really good restaurant!“

“I really enjoy my dinner at King Fish House. I wasn’t sure when I got there. We made reservations and the hostess decided to place my husband and I on the bar side. With sports and games on. I don’t know why she thought that’s was a good idea since we both was dress for dinner and not to watch a game on tv. I made reservations for a good dinner table. Maybe she didn’t like the mix race situation. But I seated myself. With respect to her. It all turn out very nice. Our waitress and food was amazing. Will definitely go back. Bad attitude hostess is not a factor.“
