The best wings in San Diego hands down and by a long shot. You wouldn’t even know this place existed it’s so tucked away but man it sure is worth the hunt and the price. The wings are quality, huge, always juicy and flavorful. The fish is nicely battered and fried. Try the sides they are all delicious. Well done Captain Sam’s keep it up!

I just moved to San Diego from Los Angeles, and I thought Los Angeles had good fish until I ate at CAPTAIN SAM'S. Captain Sam's is the BEST FISH I HAVE EVER ATE. THE ZUCCHINI IS DELICIOUS, THE CORN BALLS , just awesome. The chicken is very delicious. When my family or friends visit me? We go to Captain Sam's fish market and purchase the best fish in town. SO YUMMY FISH IS SO GOOD

I flew all the way from Connecticut for a family vacation. I was craving some deep fried catfish, came across this restaurant on door dash. Man this place didn’t disappoint. This is the absolute best food I have ever had. I was raised in the south where fish fry’s are something we did frequently. This restaurant taste exactly like those fish fry’s did. Opens up a whole vault of memories for me. Absolutely amazing job! I will definitely have to come back here before I fly back to Connecticut, and every time I come this way for vacation, I will have to eat here. We had catfish, okra, Mac and cheese bites, mushrooms, and corn nuggets. By far amazing and outstandingly delicious. Thank you guys!

Went here for the catfish, and got the wings with it, the catfish was ok they cook it to fast, I think if they let it cook just a few minutes longer would definitely make a difference. But overall pretty good
