This one is right at the border of Mexico in Otay. Looks like it was recently remodeled. I found the place clean, plenty of automated menu boards to place your order if you want to minimize your human interaction. The order was ready in record time, was accurate, and tasted as expected.For a McDonald's, it was a 5 star experience
Everything was nice, specially the food, except for Pablo who refuse me to enter the powder room.The employees should realize that they are not God and can not refuse anybody the usage of the bathroom. Should they do so, then the corporate office and the health department will be notified and the health department inspector will have a holiday in giving out citations.

You have no view of the kitchen. That’s a no go for me. Even if I don’t see you prep my sandwich just knowing that everyone can see workers helps them stay more accountable. I like to see an open kitchen with gloves and a kitchen sink. What would stop someone from washing in the bathroom and not again at a sanitary sink and no gloves bare hands in food as that’s the standard in Tijuana and I’m sure most workers there are Tijuana residents.
