“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“One of the best restaurants I’ve been to! We loved everything we tried on the menu, and were sad to hear it’s being discontinued for a new spring menu—especially the filet mignon, which was incredibly tasty.
They put a lot of care into their dishes, which really matters to me. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared— like home-cooked food, but elevated to another level. Portions are on the smaller side, but the quality makes up for it.

I’m a huge fan of Som Tum, and they make it exactly the way I like it so flavorful, fresh, and absolutely delicious! The Thai ramen is also really good and definitely worth trying.

The deviled eggs, watermelon, salad, hummus, and pita, artichokes and falafel were amazingly good. We then ordered the Bronzino and the saffron chicken, which were outstanding as well. But the best part was the service: We lost some documents, and we thought we'd left them there. The entire staff was cooperative and friendly. They even gave us a follow-up call. Unfortunately, we couldn't find them (we lost them in the parking lot), but we were very grateful for the staff's support. If you go to San Diego, be sure to visit this delicious restaurant!! “We have ordered Kebabs before here, we recently ordered a meal kit that was all rice and hardly any meat, I mean it was a joke, its a $30 meal. I messaged them because we have ordered several times before and thought maybe they would try to make it right but they never replied. This was 2 weeks ago. We will never buy food here again! The servings are very small and there are tons of other places to eat or order take out around here if they want to be jerks about it! The food is average really, we order out frequently so as not to have to cook and live in the area. We got about $1 worth of rice and lettuce for a $30 meal plate, what a joke!“

“This was my partners and I first time at the Remy. We had the small Mac and cheese with the porter house. 2 different sauces. They both were absolutely amazing. Especially the steak! We got the bread service and were a bit let down that although warm. It was a bit stale. We also got the beef tar tar. The bread that came with it was also a bit stale. Tar tar was great though as well as the bone marrow. I ended up getting the Remy's signature old fashioned and it was a delight. I will be coming back to try a different steak and the lobster Mac and cheese this time. But will pass on the bread and beer tar tar. i would like to add that our waiter, she was an absolute delight.“
