Good food, just like back at the east coast. Finally something I can find! Unfortunately the service isn't much great, the lady in the counter taking orders wasn't very polite. I understand it's walk and go and it's busy this lady was not patient about her customers and people who are picking up orders. Good food though.
Big Jim's is a takeout sandwich and salad place in the spirit of New England roast beef sub shops. Kelly's has nothing on this place. Jim's is way better quality and a better price point than Kelly's if you are used to that. Everything is made to order so don't expect a sandwich in 3 mins. It takes about 5-10 if they are slow and 15-20 if they are busy and back up, which they often are because it's so damn good. Food was nothing short of incredible. Tried the Super Beef and a Buffalo Tender Sub. The beef was super tender, sliced very thin, and piled high. The sauce was reminiscent of a bbq sauce but much lighter with a thinner consistency. Sauce was tangy and slightly sweet and works perfect with the flavor of the beef.
