Food was nothing short of incredible. Tried the Super Beef and a Buffalo Tender Sub. The beef was super tender, sliced very thin, and piled high. The sauce was reminiscent of a bbq sauce but much lighter with a thinner consistency. Sauce was tangy and slightly sweet and works perfect with the flavor of the beef. The tenders were perfect and stayed crispy even when tossed in buffalo. Portions of both were large and absolutely worth the price. Try the tortellini salad! Customer service was great as well!

Good food, just like back at the east coast. Finally something I can find! Unfortunately the service isn't much great, the lady in the counter taking orders wasn't very polite. I understand it's walk and go and it's busy this lady was not patient about her customers and people who are picking up orders. Good food though.

Big Jim's is a takeout sandwich and salad place in the spirit of New England roast beef sub shops. Kelly's has nothing on this place. Jim's is way better quality and a better price point than Kelly's if you are used to that. Everything is made to order so don't expect a sandwich in 3 mins. It takes about 5-10 if they are slow and 15-20 if they are busy and back up, which they often are because it's so damn good. If you are from the Boston area and miss home and the sandwiches, come here! You can call in your order if you are concerned about the wait

Aight, so it's a small sized establishment that offers some outside seating. The woman who took our order was friendly & offered to answer any questions we may have. There was a bit of a line but it moved fast and we got our order in about fifteen minutes. But on to the food! My friends....get the roast beef. You will inhale it and wish you had more. It is one of the best things I've eaten in a loooong time and certainly the best of my 2024 so far. It's a mess, but it's worth it. The sauce drenched the takeout bag and ripped our bag open so I had to cradle it like a soiled baby while we booked back to our car. We also got the spicy buffalo sandwich and the steak tip sandwich but in comparison to the roast beef, roast beef is far superior. 5/5

No joke this place has some seriously bomb food. Highly recommend. The Super is a bit sloppy and delicious. I wouldn't have it any other way.

GOOD LORD- I’m a HUGE foodie and I’m serious when I say their roast beef sandwich was probably the best sandwich I’ve had in my life!! The bbq sauce was on point, the bread was heavenly and the meat was delicious and tender! Worth every penny- RUN, don’t walk!

Amazing! For anyone from the Boston area - this 3 way beef is better than Kelly's! The onion rings were also amazing and were hand made to order! My kids enjoyed the meatball sub! Looking forward to our next trip and trying some more New England staples! Also service was great!

Was really looking forward to trying a French dip. They put horseradish sauce on it which ruined it for me. That doesn’t belong on a dip. Don’t get too saucy and ruin a perfectly good simple staple sandwich. At least post on your menu part that the dip has horseradish on it. Not everyone likes it. Order took an awfully long time as well.

Super beef is very good. I like the light crisp of the toasted buttered onion bun. Perfect amount of BBQ sauce. I opted for no mayo. Friendly, fast service. I want to try the french dip with horseradish sauce and au jus. I want to try the homemade meatball sandwich. I want to try the onion rings. I want to try the chicken parm sandwich. I hear the junior beef does not come with the same bun as the one I liked. Ideally parking, seating, cool air/warm sunshine could be better but its a great taste of Mass, you get a lot of beef, and its not too pricey at $14 for a super beef. Ambience is meh. No music. They have a loyalty program. Next to a gopd Detroit square pizza place, by some great Nashville chicken too.
