“I had the mango salad with chicken. It had a wide variety of lettuces giving it nice texture and flavor. We had a side of the consistently tasty curried couscous. The atmosphere with its turf and play area was nice for families, especially those with young children and those like us with our Collie and Golden Retriever in tow. The service was efficient but not intrusive. We opted to eat outside there.“

“We've been coming here for more than 20 years. It is a test innovative kitchen of Rubio's. Food is good and fresh. The manager and employees are so nice and accommodating. Especially the 2 female employees. The Manager here is very friendly and knows how to socialize well. The food is always good 👍 and I liked my points that I use all the time for a discount“

“Where do I begin? From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with amazing customer service. The conversation while ordering felt so genuine and welcoming, and we even got to learn a little about the history of the restaurant and the story behind the business. It made the experience feel personal right from the start.

When the food came out, we were shocked by the portion sizes. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The meat was cooked to perfection, tender and packed with flavor. The pita and hummus were delicious, and every bite tasted fresh and homemade. For dessert, we tried the baklava and rice pudding—both were outstanding. The baklava was rich, sweet, and perfectly balanced, while the rice pudding was creamy, smooth, and absolutely delicious.

What really stood out was how welcomed and comfortable we felt. Between the amazing food, warm atmosphere, and exceptional service, this place truly felt like home.

We actually discovered this restaurant through a Groupon, and I’m so glad we did because it has quickly become our new favorite spot. “I wanted to like the pizza more but have to admit it was just okay. Maybe because my slices were a little crunchy? Also nothing flavor wise really made it stand out. The cheese and sauce were doing the bare minimum. I could just be spoiled because there's too many other pizza places around. There's no bathroom to wash your hands before you eat but they do offer hand sanitizer. On the plus side they do offer draft beer which pairs nicely with your slices and the staff was very friendly. I would be willing to try this place again.“

“Happened to be leaving a game and I turned around and seen this place perfectly located next to Petco Park. When I went inside I was greeted warmly and I asked what the difference was between the regular gyro and the pork belly one. The guy said if I ordered the pork belly the way he makes extra crispy I would love it. Ever since I’ve been back about 3 more times plus I found them near my work in Mira Mesa so that’s four…I’m hooked 🥙“

“I’ve been enjoying Mendocino Farms catering from the Carmel Valley location for years at work, so I was *thrilled* when they opened a location here— absolutely love it!

We’ve ordered catering from the Scripps Ranch location and also love coming in as a family. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully done. I especially love the generous use of fresh avocado - I have way too many favorites to choose from. Their unique, healthy twists on classic salads and sandwiches really set them apart.

Salads I keep coming back to include their takes on the Cobb, Caesar, Quinoa & Avocado, and the Not So Fried Chicken Salad. For sandwiches, the Banh Mi, Not So Fried Chicken, Farm Club, Peruvian Steak, and Caprese are all fantastic. There's really something for everyone, including great vegan options—you can’t go wrong. And the spicy curry couscous? Absolutely to die for.

On top of the food, the staff is outstanding. Every person I’ve interacted with has been warm, welcoming, and genuinely focused on making customers happy. It also means a lot that they support our neighborhood schools—we’re incredibly lucky to have Mendocino Farms as part of our community. Highly recommend!!!“

“I haven’t come in a while since the service wasn’t the best, but shoutout to Gabriel & Leo — they were so kind! Especially Gabriel. He approached me right away, asked for my name to get my order started, and was super passionate while making my pizza and talking with my husband and me. I honestly thought he had been working there for a long time, but he mentioned he’d only been there a few weeks — and he absolutely nailed it.
Leo was helping Gabriel with questions he had, and he was so kind and supportive. It really showed great teamwork, and it’s so nice to see that kind of environment. It made me feel really comfortable eating there. Hearing Gabriel say he enjoys working there honestly made me happy because you can tell they genuinely care.
Also, shoutout to Ryan (I believe that was his name) at the cashier. When I came to the front to ask for a cup of water, he immediately approached me to see if I needed anything. 10/10 experience.
And when I asked Gabriel and Leo for their names so I could leave them a review, they were both so humble and didn’t hesitate to share them, even though they weren’t expecting it for a good review.

“Had my first taste of Boudin sourdough bread in Disneys California Adventure. The bread is just as good here but not warm. The chowder was really good in the bread bowl and so was the chili. (There are brands in their chili). No line to order but we could have ordered from our phone if there was. Plenty of tables to choose from. Needs a good sweet tea option though.“

“There was a long line and Evan was the only one in register, there were more people in the back and they were doing nothing but staring and laughing at him. There was a white, short girl with glasses that was literally just standing there and not getting in register to help. The food was great and despite being in a rush, he was great to us. When we got our food in our table I tried giving the short, white girl with glasses our tray because I didn’t need it and she tried telling me to keep it or to put it away myself instead of just doing her job. “Chuck-fil-a is always a good choice when on a road trip! We stopped at this location to take a break, stretch and eat. I love the salads here…my husband and I ordered the Cobb salad with avocado dressing, the kids got the chicken sandwich and nuggets. I’ve never been to a chick-fil-a where customer service is bad and this wasn’t the case. Customer service was polite and very nice. It was very clean and they even had a play area for small kids. They have this sign of this person that has dined with them for so many days, thought that was pretty cool!“
