“When I walk in and being welcomed in, that, brings a smile on my face! Everyone is friendly and eager to serve with a smile. Almeida is a jewel! I mainly go in for a drink after finishing a walk and sometimes I will have a salad. Food is good. And the bell Almeida put up is an added bonus.“
“Great food! First time trying KFC in years, and their new menu items are amazing. The Smash'd potato bowl and the pot pie are actually really good, I'd recommend trying it out. Their chicken breasts and drums are still as good as they've always been, but the chicken sandwich is a bit underwhelming.“
“Like In & Out, Chick-fil-A has a customer focused idea that makes visiting and eating there very pleasant. The staff is always very nice and goes out of there way to make you happy. This is truly why businesses like this thrive and are busy non stop. If you go to a McDonalds or jack in the box you can tell right away that the people hate working there and have zero interest in customer service. Take note big franchises....use Chick-fil-A as a model and you will increase your foot traffic like these guys. Oh and of course the food is amazing!!“
“I had the most amazing kimchi fried rice here today. The portion was super generous for the price of $12, and their chicken was so flavorful. I was able to have this dish for about two rounds of leftovers too! The staff at the front were quite warm and the food was made in about 10-15 minutes. The vibe inside is really cute, too. They have hanging plants all throughout, and they have lots of sunlight inside. Can't wait to try something else next time.“
“Pretty good hot chicken place, I usually go for the slider combo with the hot spice level, which has a good balance between flavor and spice. The fry portion isn't too small nor too large either. The only thing to keep in mind is that they make orders in batches only so the wait might be 20 to 30 minutes before it's ready.“
“I've been meaning to write a review for this place, but I was too busy enjoying the food that I got distracted! Please give this place a chance. The few times we've been here it has been very slow. I'm hoping this place picks up traction and is here for a long time.The sliders are huge in my opinon. To me they are very much sandwich size. Mac and cheese is on point, everything fried to perfection, and the portions are generous! This will definitely be at the top of my go-to chicken spots in Mira Mesa =)“
“11/4/23 - I did a phone order for a pick up. Ordered almost $90 of food to sample all the chickens and a few sides. I was told to drop by in 25 min. I was down the street and paid and waited just 10 minutes. Lots of food to bring back. We had a taste off in everything. Negative- onion rings were very breaded and not much actual onion inside. Positive- onion rings were very crunchy and not soggy or grease. Everyone liked all the chicken and every person had their own favorites. No duplicates which was odd. Chicken was hot and good. I didn't know the small check bites came with fries. The dumplings were good and the sauce which it came with was adequate. Overall 5 stars. Lovely cash register person again and the same as the other day. Everything was well packed. Lots of leftovers. Check out these photos.“
“Raising Cane’s is one of my favorite fast food locations in SD! The Cane sauce alone is what I come for. Delicious with the chicken tenders. However both the sweet tea and lemonade are also delicious, and their Texas toast is amazing as well! I’m not the biggest fan of coleslaw, so I just order extra fries instead. Only downside is that you have to pick up your order near the cash register when you dine in, but it is fast food after all ?.“

It is delicious.The Ddeokbokki is spicy and so authentic. Id recommend just the regular ddeokbokki not the special. Special only has one dumpling and one shrimp and cheese added on top.I got the large chicken boneless with garlic sauce on the side, and the fried chicken was soooo crispy. All of this took 10 minutes to come out at 6:30 pm on a saturday!!!This and the special ddeokbokki was perfect portions for me and my parents. Prices were completely reasonable too. “EXCELLENT Chicken Soup.When places say "Best...whatever " one is always like...okay...yeah sure buddy...you know. In my humble opinion Don Pollo hits the mark with the chicken soup. Absolutely Delicious. The broth is so clean and bright, vegetables are not overcooked. The squash and carrots have a crunch and bite to them. The rice sitting at the bottom of the bowl is the right accent to it. The jalapeño gives it the right heat, to bring everything together. I wanted more, but my belly full. Just the perfect bowl of chicken soup. Moving on to the tacos, overflowing with meat and guacamole. Don Pollo hits the mark again. You get your money's worth every time. Been here now a few times, and EVERY TIME i am SATISFIED. GREAT SPOT. EXCELLENT SERVICE. THANK YOU DON POLLO.“
