“Visiting family from the East Coast and my daughter took me here today. I was stationed in Daegu South Korea for 2 years while in the Army. we used to get bb.q chicken almost every weekend. The kids loved it and so did I. This was my first time having it in 8 years and it immediately brought me back to being in Daegu. The food was amazing and brought us right back to being there. I highly recommend you check them out, you won't regret it!“

“Food is always on point and the people very friendly. But I wonder how important cleanliness is, it feels that everytime I go, the tables and floor are a mess. I get that a lot are disgusting and don't know how to clean after themselves, but as a restaurant, they should consider cleaning the dinning area. Hope this doesn't come off in a wrong way, but that's an important part in my opinion.“

“bb.q is a bit expensive, but it’s worth the money. It’s absolutely the best Korean fried chicken I’ve had. We always get some Rose Ddeok-Bokki too. The rice cakes, fish cakes and sauce are delicious. Inside the store they always have multiple TVs on with some Korean shows and K-pop music show performances (the kind you find on Samsung TV). The staff is always great.“

“I love crack shack. I was born n raised in San Diego but moved to Memphis where I learned what good fried chicken is. This is the fried chicken spot in Southern California. Fire nugs+fries+pickles you can not go wrong. The bar tender is really awesome and the food is seasoned perfectly. Really good desserts as well.“

“My husband who has celiac disease loved it!! The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. This is the best fried chicken we’ve had since my husband was diagnosed. “Ko Kai has been such a blessing to have in San Diego! It is so hard to find restaurants with this type of food made this style! There are other variations of Hainan chicken but nothing close to this one. We have tried it all in San Diego and this one just hits home. It has a mix of Malay/Singapore and Chinese feel but from a Thai family! I was able to chat with the owners and they are super nice! Their descendants are from China but their family migrated to Thailand. This recipe has been past down generations and still operating till this day in the South of Thailand! This is a must try! You won’t regret it! I always have to keep an eye out for their announcements where they’ll be during the week!

“We got the Cluckin Hot Jumbo Slider with a 2nd piece of Jumbo strip. The 2nd strip was the Hot flavor. The Cluckin Hot sauce is definitely hot and was excellent. We were happily surprised with this. They said they recently changed the recipe to make it hotter, great choice. The fries were well done like we asked and the sauce options were excellent. We will definitely go back to this place!“

I don't know if you are bone in or boneless however, I got boneless spicy chicken with waffle fries and a chicken biscuit that I'm going to eat for breakfast in the morning. I'm satisfied so all I can say is go try it for yourself and make your own discovery. If it's you, it's for you. If it's not then don't go back.“

“Big hot chicken fan and I try new places whenever I can and Im a nationwide traveler and this is a definite top contender for my favorite place. The seasoning is delicious, just the right amount of spice, crispy chicken (not too heavy of breading), cooked just right, flavorful sauces, and the bun doesn't fall apart in my hands as I eat it like Daves Hot Chicken does.
