“Visiting family from the East Coast and my daughter took me here today. I was stationed in Daegu South Korea for 2 years while in the Army. we used to get bb.q chicken almost every weekend. The kids loved it and so did I. This was my first time having it in 8 years and it immediately brought me back to being in Daegu. The food was amazing and brought us right back to being there. I highly recommend you check them out, you won't regret it!“

“Ordering is a breeze with their order kiosk. The food was ready within a few minutes after ordering. The biscuits are buttery and soft on the inside and a slight crust on the outside. The blueberry biscuit was lightly sweetened but with a good amount of blueberries. Everything we ordered looked and tasted freshly made. We will be back to try the other options sooner than later“

“Ko Kai has been such a blessing to have in San Diego! It is so hard to find restaurants with this type of food made this style! There are other variations of Hainan chicken but nothing close to this one. We have tried it all in San Diego and this one just hits home. It has a mix of Malay/Singapore and Chinese feel but from a Thai family! I was able to chat with the owners and they are super nice! Their descendants are from China but their family migrated to Thailand. This recipe has been past down generations and still operating till this day in the South of Thailand! This is a must try! You won’t regret it! I always have to keep an eye out for their announcements where they’ll be during the week!

I shut my mouth and sat and ate and about half way through my meal she brought over the original ask. “We got the Cluckin Hot Jumbo Slider with a 2nd piece of Jumbo strip. The 2nd strip was the Hot flavor. The Cluckin Hot sauce is definitely hot and was excellent. We were happily surprised with this. They said they recently changed the recipe to make it hotter, great choice. The fries were well done like we asked and the sauce options were excellent. We will definitely go back to this place!“
