I always come here on my lunch break and Emerson is always extremely kind and helpful! She was patient and helped me navigate the menu my first visit and has been a great help since. Kudos to her excellent customer service and attention to detail. I will definitely be a frequent visitor for my lunch breaks.
The food is always good regardless of when you go. We tend to use the drive thru due to its convenience. The reason for my 3/5 stars rating though was for whoever was manning the drive thru during my most recent visit. From the get go, he was not friendly over the intercom. He slurred his words so it was already hard to hear, but on top of that, the tone was just overall bored of his job. Tables, chairs, under tables needed cleaning attention. Spent five+ minutes prepping a table and chairs. Food was exceptionally bland, house salsa was made with green tomatoes, portions were especially small, drinks were watery bland, house bell ringer was missing (not that we needed it). This was a challenging day for the staff? Only a first - love our El Pollo Loco! Thank you for your service! We simply weren't expected or wanted today... Bummer.
