“Hands down, the best burgers. My go to is the Double- Double animal style (mustard grilled into the meat, grilled onion, extra sauce, extra pickles). You can get it on any of their burgers. To the Snyders (the owners of In-N-Out), PLEASE put stores in Florida!! We deserve this goodness too. 🥰“

“I have been to this coffee shop several times now since new ownership and have tried a different coffee every time and to my surprise it’s always good. I have been drinking coffee religiously for over a decade and have become extremely picky about my coffee. So it’s nice to find a place that has the convenience of a drive thru with great quality coffee.“

“A must visit. True to the roots of the small brewery experience in the San Diego area. Visiting Lightning feels like visiting a bit of brewing history.

There is an indoor and outdoor seating area to enjoy. The beer on tap is great! Really unique brewery styles compared to most breweries. Nice to be able to order a few types of beer I have never seen elsewhere. Of course, they have the tried and true Thunderweizen, also a must have when you visit. It really is the definition of a Souther California take on a Hefeweizen style. Fits perfectly with the great weather.

There is plenty of parking around the building, a few places large enough to bring a sizable group of people after work for a birthday. They also have some snacks that you can grab while you are here.

The staff was attentive and professional, which is always appreciated. You can also get a glimpse into the production when you visit as well, since it's a big open warehouse.“

“This place is great in all aspects. Food is served fast, delicious, and portions are generous. Plenty of variety on their menu, than other places. Prices are very reasonable than others in local area. They also are tech friendly with taking your order via tablet or you can also have the option to order with a server at your table. Ive also order food for my work lunch break and they are very convenient and fast to have my order ready by the time I arrive so I can enjoy my meal and my lunch break. Love the staff thats very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place to anyone and plan on bringing my friends and family members here to eat. It is finally getting busier and hopefully they stick around for a while.
Wish they had happy hour as this would bring more locals in.

“I was craving some pizza, saw they have single and double slice options with a soda so I stopped in. They made it fresh, only about 7 minute wait or so. DAMN was that pizza good. Not oily, not soggy, just hot and delicious. Couldn't ask for more.“

“HUUUGE and delicious carne fries. I’ve been hunting for some decent carne fries in north SD for a while now. Think I’ve found my spot. Costly for the large fries, but also two meals here. Fresh pico, fresh guac, fresh everything - completely unexpected as it was a late night pickup and I assumed I’d be getting the leftover scrapings of whatever they had remaining from today’s service - boy was I wrong. Definitely worth giving them a try!“
