“It's probably the bedt Pho you will find in San Diego. Tried a lot of places, but this places broth tastes clean and refreshing. Especially when other places may make you feel kind of heavy. The price is also really good as well.
Also, the last thing I will bring up are the host, they always find a way to make you feel comfortable while waiting for your food.“

“staff was warm and welcoming as we walked in. Super fast service, 3 different staff check on us to see if we needed anything. food came out in correct order, fresh, and hot! was a nice time. They even said thank you and goodbye on the way out which was nice. first time my hubby and I ate here, we will be back 😋“

“Food is good. They have 75 page menu, definitley can get lost in it. The cost on the Google serach is misleading. Most, if not all of the starters are > $20. The main course is also upwards of $25, some in the mid 30's. Portion sizes can be little more generous as the cost is high (IMO). The restaurant does provide complimentary dessert (not sure if they offer it to all the customers) our 1st time to the restaurant.“

“More than just a Bahn mi shop. Cali Baguette is an authentic Vietnamese eatery. Besides an amazing selection of sandwiches (btw you can actually smell the fresh baguettes being baked!) There is a multitude of snacks, drinks and desserts! The service and very warm hospitality are just as impressive as the food 👍 I will definitely be back again AND again!“

“Don’t order with your eyes because you won’t finish… trust me, it’s that good! They have to have the “best” Viet BANH CUON (steamed rice rolls) in town! Also the best BANH Mi Chao (Beef, sausage, meatball, eggs, and French roll skillet) for a great value too! I will most definitely come back again …and I live 30 minutes away in East Chula Vista! I highly recommend. 5 STARS!!!“

“First time visiting, and it was a great experience! We stopped by on a Monday around 4 PM. The first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant was and the outstanding customer service. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and seated right away, and our food arrived shortly after.
The food was delicious! The shrimp and meatballs pho was flavorful, veggie eggrolls were freshly fried & hot and the Asian Sweet Wings were definitely a highlight. I requested my fries to be extra crispy, but they weren’t quite as crunchy as I had hoped. Even so, the exceptional customer service more than made up for it.
Overall, we had a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try!“

“This restaurant is such a wonderful find. The dining area is nicely decorated and incredibly clean, with every corner well‑maintained. It stays pleasantly quiet, so you can dine without loud background noise. Every dish is full of rich flavor, made with fresh quality ingredients. Tables and utensils are properly sanitized. It is perfect for casual dinners or small gentle gatherings. I felt totally relaxed throughout the meal. This lovely spot is well worth visiting, and I will definitely come back soon.“

“Had their egg rolls with the rice paper a year ago from a co-worker who brought a tray in to work. Haven't stopped thinking about it.
But somehow, it wasn't as good as I remembered it. Still good but a little too dry and too salty.
Bahn mi was great.
Not much of a seating area so beware if you plan on eating in.
They only take cash.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not much room for wheelchair“

“This Pho Cow Cali is so delicious! It is one of the best pho places I've ever tried in SoCal! *Besides Orange County*. I ordered to go and there was a lot of people waiting outside, but I got my to go order in 5 mins?!? FAST SERVICE and kind service. The pho is so delicious.“

“The broth was head and shoulders above most other pho places, with plenty of aromatics and onion.
The pile of basil I was given would have satisfied a large ruminant.
The bathroom was in a slightly dire condition, however.“

“Great service. Excellent location with plenty of parking spots. Food was.. ok. Pho broth was your typical MSG premade broth but a little too sweet for me. Meat was a overcooked. My bf ordered shrimp stir fry noodles and it was too saucy to be a stir fry. Vegetables were way undercook and too little noodles. Eggrolls were good. Video playing on the tv was very loud. Three to four stars.“

“Came here for lunch with my parents, and we had a good experience! The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. Our server was Tom. He was friendly and provided good service.
We started with the BBQ Pork Spring Rolls (Goi Cuon Thit Nuong) for appetizer and they were absolutely delicious. The pork was juicy, tender, and flavorful, and the peanut sauce paired perfectly with it.
For our main dishes, we ordered the Grilled Chicken Rice Plate (Com Ga Nuong) and the Hanoi-Style Vermicelli with Grilled Pork Patties (Bun Cha Ha Noi). The chicken rice plate came with a generous portion, and the chicken was tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. The Bun Cha Ha Noi was the highlight of the meal! The grilled pork patties were incredibly juicy, tender, and full of smoky flavor.
Our favorite dishes were the Bun Cha Ha Noi and the Goi Cuon Thit Nuong. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.
Overall, this is definitely a hidden gem. We'll be coming back for another meal and highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Vietnamese food with family or friends!“

“I stopped by Pho Minh & Grill and it was a great place to enjoy authentic Vietnamese comfort food. The restaurant has a casual, relaxed atmosphere—nothing fancy, but very welcoming and perfect for a simple meal with friends or family. It’s a popular local spot with solid reviews and affordable prices.
The pho is definitely the highlight. The broth is rich and aromatic, and the portions are generous with plenty of noodles and tender meat. They also serve other Vietnamese favorites like grilled rice dishes, vermicelli bowls, and appetizers such as spring rolls, which make the menu nicely varied. Vietnamese restaurants like this typically focus on staples such as pho, bánh mì, and grilled entrées served with rice or vermicelli.
Overall, Pho Minh & Grill is a reliable neighborhood restaurant if you’re craving a warm bowl of pho or classic Vietnamese dishes. The food is flavorful, the prices are reasonable, and it’s a comforting place for a satisfying meal.“

“So my roommates and I try new pho spots all the time, and this is one of the best spots we've been to in a while. The broth is herby, and just full of nice flavors it's not just the meat. The meat is also fantastic. The staff,
(I believe the owners?) we're an absolute delight. They cracked jokes with us, gave us recommendations, showed us a way to mix the sauces we hadn't already done. It was genuinely a great time and we will all be back.“

“Absolutely the most of the most! The veggies are abundant fresh and crispy. the pork is tender and flavorful and the tiny rice noodles are hot and well cooked. they serve it with large lettuce leaves that you wrap all the goodies up as a Vietnamese burrito. and dip it into a flavorful sauce called fish sauce but it is not fishy and does not taste like fish. Tops! Every dish is tops. and the soups are also fun to try. A fun meal pretty much describes the Saigon Restaurant. Thank you, Victor. He's the top cheese there. I'm so happy this restaurant survived the pandemic.“

“Authentic Vietnamese place serving only 4 dishes. But if you like made to order banh cuon (steamed rice rolls), cha lua (steamed pork loaf), or best of all, gio chien (fried pork paste), you really won’t be disappointed. These simple items are much better than what’s available elsewhere because of the ingredients and because of their freshness. Yum!
Note: You can reheat the fried pork paste in an air fryer at home and it still tastes good, but when it just comes out, the smell of it is so irresistible!“

“Went to dinner with family last night and had amazing experience. We ordered the spring rolls, lemonade, Vietnamese coffee, chicken pho for our kiddo and rare/well done steak for ourselves. Portions are huge, pho is incredibly flavorful, and to this day they serve the best Vietnamese coffee I have tried from any Pho restaurant in SD (and I have tried many)!!! Restaurant was busy (you know it's good when the restaurant be crowded), but they served us fairly quickly and staff were very sweet. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for great Pho place near Spring Valley Area.“
“Small venue. Excellent Vietnamese coffee served. Restrooms available. Big screen TV available for viewing. Lotto card scratcher machine located inside. Hot Spot available as well. Live music on weekends. Owner is very nice. Lots of regulars. Always busy. Clean atmosphere. Serves food upon request. Beer also served nights & weekends. Always satisfied.“

“A fantastic sandwich for a fantastic price. The veggies are always plentiful and fresh. Could there be more meat? Sure, but for $6.25 per special combination really can’t complain. It’s perfect for the price. I can’t recommend their coffee though, it’s more bitter and burnt tasting than most Vietnamese places.“

“Definitely worth the stop! $6.95 banh mi!!!
I did not try the Pho. In my defense, I was on a motorcycle and taking the food to go... The banh mi did not disappoint for the price!
Only 4 stars because I have sensitive gums, the baguette was tough against that!“

“I picked up a birthday cake from this shop last weekend and was pretty happy with how everything turned out. The cake looked just like the design I asked for, and the flavor was fresh without being overly sweet. Everyone at the party had something nice to say about it, which doesn't happen very often. The staff was friendly and answered my questions without rushing me. Pickup was easy and the order was ready on time. Prices seemed fair for the quality. Definetly a place I'd consider using again for future celebrations.“

“The pho was hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had—rich, aromatic broth that was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the noodles were cooked to perfection, soaking up all that deliciousness.“

“We walk in, we are immediately seated and brought menus. We order the soup. Within 5 minutes the soup was in front of us. This might have been the best pho I've ever had in my life. Rich broth. Generous portions, enough for two meals. We go up to pay. He doesn't waste our time with small talk, asking about our weekend plans in some shameless attempt to inflate his tip percentage. He just brought us the soup and then we paid. It was fast. Amazing service.
We left full. We left happy.“

“We’ve eaten here a couple of times and always enjoy the pho. They have a vegetarian broth available and vegetarian proteins like faux chicken and shrimp, which cannot be said for many of the Vietnamese restaurants in our neighborhood. And it’s a really good broth, surprising flavorful and light on the salt.
The other thing we love to order here is the fruit slushies and boba. The fruit slushies, in particular, are out of this world. I would recommend the strawberry.
My only complaint is that they don’t always read/follow the instructions I write in when ordering online. Tonight, for example, I ordered the vegetarian pho with tofu and asked for it without the cilantro garnish and, still, my soup was decorated with cilantro leafs.“
