“the pho mai was really great, came with a lot of meat and toppings. the flavor was awesome and the noodles were very bouncy.
the rare meat pho was also really good, and extra noodles were only $2.
the bbq rice plate had a variety of meats, but i think it would taste better with fresh cucumbers and tomatoes. the spring rolls had a great texture but didn’t have a lot of meat.
the service overall was good and the server was super attentive. you can also get a free drink by leaving a review!“

“It's probably the bedt Pho you will find in San Diego. Tried a lot of places, but this places broth tastes clean and refreshing. Especially when other places may make you feel kind of heavy. The price is also really good as well.

Also, the last thing I will bring up are the host, they always find a way to make you feel comfortable while waiting for your food.“

“Food is good. They have 75 page menu, definitley can get lost in it. The cost on the Google serach is misleading. Most, if not all of the starters are > $20. The main course is also upwards of $25, some in the mid 30's. Portion sizes can be little more generous as the cost is high (IMO). The restaurant does provide complimentary dessert (not sure if they offer it to all the customers) our 1st time to the restaurant.“

“First time visiting, and it was a great experience! We stopped by on a Monday around 4 PM. The first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant was and the outstanding customer service. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and seated right away, and our food arrived shortly after.

The food was delicious! The shrimp and meatballs pho was flavorful, veggie eggrolls were freshly fried & hot and the Asian Sweet Wings were definitely a highlight. I requested my fries to be extra crispy, but they weren’t quite as crunchy as I had hoped. Even so, the exceptional customer service more than made up for it.

Overall, we had a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try!“

“The pho is really good here. It comes out piping hot and the broth is rich and beefy. The amount of noodles you get use to be adequate but seems less so as of late. The only big problem about this place is the limited parking. Their lot in the back only fit about 3-4 cars while the front shared space only has room for maybe 5. Don't even try to park in other property lots such as the liquor store. The owner watches the camera like a hawk and will not hesitate to call the tow truck.“

I asked if I could and the servers/owner said yes yes,and bought me a plate and helped me pour my food in a plate rather than eating out of the to go box. I thought it was very sweet! But somehow, it wasn't as good as I remembered it. Still good but a little too dry and too salty.
Bahn mi was great.

“Came here for lunch with my parents, and we had a good experience! The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. Our server was Tom. He was friendly and provided good service.

We started with the BBQ Pork Spring Rolls (Goi Cuon Thit Nuong) for appetizer and they were absolutely delicious. The pork was juicy, tender, and flavorful, and the peanut sauce paired perfectly with it.

For our main dishes, we ordered the Grilled Chicken Rice Plate (Com Ga Nuong) and the Hanoi-Style Vermicelli with Grilled Pork Patties (Bun Cha Ha Noi). The chicken rice plate came with a generous portion, and the chicken was tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. The Bun Cha Ha Noi was the highlight of the meal! The grilled pork patties were incredibly juicy, tender, and full of smoky flavor.

Our favorite dishes were the Bun Cha Ha Noi and the Goi Cuon Thit Nuong. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.

Overall, this is definitely a hidden gem. We'll be coming back for another meal and highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Vietnamese food with family or friends!“

“Absolutely the most of the most! The veggies are abundant fresh and crispy. the pork is tender and flavorful and the tiny rice noodles are hot and well cooked. they serve it with large lettuce leaves that you wrap all the goodies up as a Vietnamese burrito. and dip it into a flavorful sauce called fish sauce but it is not fishy and does not taste like fish. Tops! Every dish is tops. and the soups are also fun to try. A fun meal pretty much describes the Saigon Restaurant. Thank you, Victor. He's the top cheese there. I'm so happy this restaurant survived the pandemic.“

Portions are huge, pho is incredibly flavorful, and to this day they serve the best Vietnamese coffee I have tried from any Pho restaurant in SD (and I have tried many)!!! Restaurant was busy (you know it's good when the restaurant be crowded), but they served us fairly quickly and staff were very sweet. “Authentic Vietnamese place serving only 4 dishes. But if you like made to order banh cuon (steamed rice rolls), cha lua (steamed pork loaf), or best of all, gio chien (fried pork paste), you really won’t be disappointed. These simple items are much better than what’s available elsewhere because of the ingredients and because of their freshness. Yum!

Note: You can reheat the fried pork paste in an air fryer at home and it still tastes good, but when it just comes out, the smell of it is so irresistible!“

“This has to be my 20th time here and each time it’s always been good .. the girl up front does have a natural RBF but her behavior towards me has an always been kind. I alway get the pho fillet or pho tai.

“I really love their coffee and their bahn mi it’s actually delicious I love the biscoff butter iced coffee but I asked for light ice and they said they would have to give me less drink. I mean really? I just don’t want too much ice because either way usually we’ll be getting more ice than drink so I asked to get light ice and the cup wasn’t even full to the top, it’s fine I paid 6 dollars for it but it’s annoying. Especially because either way I’d say it was a lot of ice it just feels very cheap of them and a bit annoying I hope they change this but thank you your coffee is amazing.“

“Easily the best pho I’ve had. I ordered #17 takeout, service seemed very efficient and fast. It’s very rundown on the outside but the inside is very clean. For $12.90 I got a bowl with noodles, brisket and raw steak, a huge bag of fresh herbs and bean sprouts and sauces and lime, and a large container of broth. The brisket was falling apart and succulent, the steak was fresh and very tender, the broth was aromatic. Overall extremely fresh and authentic pho with huge portions for a great price. If I lived close by I’d be here every day.“
