I've driven by countless times and never knew what it was. I won't make that mistake again. The food is varied and all good. From Pho to curry. Everything was made fresh, and we were all happy. The only miss was that there was no mint with the fried eggrolls.
Great little establishment that serves delicious Vietnamese dishes at reasonable prices! Loved their fresh and large springrolls with peanut sauce. Pho with rare steak was phenomenal :) and fried rice was amazing ? Nicely decorated and cozy place. Definitely recommend!!

I have eaten Vietnamese cuisine throughout California, and Grandpa Tao ranks among the best. In addition to the amazing tastes, the casual restaurant is friendly and comfortable. Ingredients are fresh, the environment clean and relaxing. I particularly recommend the Pho, the Rice Vermicelli (try it!) and the Shaking beef. You'll like it.
