“Wow, my last review of Pho House was about seven years ago, but between then and now I’ve probably visited a few more times. Lately, I’ve been searching for a new go-to pho spot, and this place is definitely climbing back up my list.

The staff was professional and attentive, and the restaurant itself was very clean. The dining room, bathrooms, tables, and sauce stations were all well maintained. I also appreciated the hand sanitizer available at every table small detail, but a nice touch.

I ordered the regular pho for about $15 and really enjoyed the broth. The meats were tender and flavorful, especially the brisket and tripe. Portion sizes definitely seem smaller compared to the oversized bowls many spots used to serve years ago, but honestly it works well if you’re trying to avoid overdoing it.

My son ordered the grilled pork chops with rice. The flavor was good, especially paired with the fish sauce, though the pork chops could have been a little hotter and had more of that grilled flavor.

Parking can sometimes be tricky depending on the time of day, but today it wasn’t an issue at all.

Overall, I enjoyed the experience and especially the broth. Pho House is definitely becoming one of my preferred pho spots in Oceanside again.“

“I have been physically ill for a long time, often finding myself struggling to eat due to the amount of pain it causes me. I came across this place by happy accident a year ago and it has been my savior. On my worst days, when I can’t bring myself to eat anything at all, I tell myself “at least try to eat some pho” and it feels like a burden but once I take that first sip of broth its like my body comes to life and suddenly I am capable of eating. Willing, in fact. My go to is their rare steak pho and the meat is always so beautifully marbled and fresh, the broth is pleasant and savory, and the noodles are always excellent. The portions are also incredibly generous for the more than reasonable prices given the state of the economy right now. If you’re looking for good pho, or a pick me up when you’re feeling sick, definitely give this place a try“

“We arrived a little after 7 pm on a Wednesday night as a party of 2 adults & 1 toddler. The restaurant was packed, but the host graciously cleared a table I'm assuming they usually use for host things to seat us right away.

Our server was so kind and friendly towards our toddler, and all the servers were very patient with us as we decided what to order since it was our first visit.

The food came out hot and quickly, and was quite tasty. We got the fried eggplant appetizer, drunken noodles (veg/tofu), Lao curry bowl (chicken), and mango sticky rice. The drunken noodles were up there with some of the best I've had. Everything else was good, but not amazing.

We had a great time though because of the service and friendliness of the staff, and will definitely return.“
