About Saigon Restaurant

Saigon Restaurant is a long-standing establishment that offers a wide variety of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. The menu is extensive, with traditional entrees and unique options available. The food is described as good, with fresh veggies, tender pork, and flavorful dishes. The restaurant is known for its Vietnamese burrito-style dish served with a tasty fish sauce. While the service can be slow and the restaurant may need a renovation, it remains a fun place for a meal. The Vietnamese coffee is refreshing, the egg rolls are large, and the squid Salt and pepper is a must-try. Customers praise the orange chicken as the best in San Diego and possibly the USA, noting it is real chicken, not breaded pebbles. The spring rolls are also large, fresh, and amazing. The curry chicken and beef soup with baguette are highly enjoyed, though some find the beef soup a bit oily. The food is very affordable and delicious for the prices. Many visitors have been returning for years, appreciating the great menu, atmosphere, and consistent quality. Overall, Saigon Restaurant is a popular spot for big parties, offering a variety of tasty dishes that keep people coming back.

Tops! Every dish is tops. and the soups are also fun to try. A fun meal pretty much describes the Saigon Restaurant....read full review
We arrived at about 6:30 on a Saturday. The place was busy, but not packed. It stayed that way with couples, families, and even a couple of single diners for the entire time we were there. Most of the customers appeared to be Vietnamese which tells you about the authenticity of the food.
