“Generous portion! More food choices than panda express and the food quality is better. We got black pepper chicken, spicy chicken, orange chicken, pork ribs and cream cheese wontons. They were all delicious. It’s becoming my favorite Chinese takeout lately.“

“Tonight my wife and I were craving good Chinese Food and we didn't know where to go so we decided to check out Lucky's Chinese kitchen here in Vista as we've never been there before.
My first impression when we walked in was, This place is dead must not be a lot of people that like it and it was going to be just like any ordinary Chinese steam table kind of food, tasteless, plain and old. however we proceeded to order a three entree plate, beef & broccoli, Kung Pao chicken and spicy shrimp with half chow mein and half rice. They were out of chow mein and the young lady said they're cooking a fresh batch and it will be out soon.
The young lady behind the counter proceeded to make our entree plates and when she was finished the chow mein came out, she loaded the chow mein on our plates and we sat down to eat.
To our surprise the food was very tasty, I was amazed. It even tasted better than Panda Express and I looked at my wife and said this was a great choice. As we continue to eat more people started coming in and we knew that this place had a pretty good following. I looked over to the steam table and they we're just bringing in a new batch of chow mein, that's how fast the batch went and how popular chow mein is. Everything on that steam table look fresh as all the vegetables were crunchy and had great flavor.
I told my wife, this is my go-to Chinese Restaurant place as the food was excellent, the price was very reasonable and the quantity of food was perfect.
Thank you Lucky Chinese kitchen for a great dinner experience....!“

“We LOVE ourselves some Chef Tangs! From the first visit, we identified a superb atmosphere to enjoy fresh, quality food with great pricing. If you like spicy, you cannot pass on their hot and spicy soup. We have turned on several friends to that dish alone! We have also dabbled with most of their chicken and beef dishes; all have been fantastic! The owner, Lee, is an outstanding guy. Always amazing service with a smile. His staff always goes out of the way to make your dining experience memorable and pleasurable. They’ve made us feel like family from the beginning. We endorse this restaurant with our highest regard and crave it on a weekly basis. Get over there and try it for yourself. You’ll become a regular in no time!“

“I love this place, the salt and pepper chicken and chow mein are really good. The family that works there are friendly and give great service. The prices are similar to other Asian fast food places. Only complaint is sometimes I’ve gotten some dry chicken, it was later in the day so I was just unlucky.“

“Brased beef soup superb totally worth waiting half an hour for it, and yes, even I am surprised to say it.... Things I totally dislike...when in the heck is it ok to charge a mandatory 20% tip ahead of being served? That is totally rude and unamerican to impose such an outrageous rule, so even if the service was unprofessional or rude it is too late because the tip was collected ahead of time....Let's not allow the abuse to be the norm...!“

“I stopped by on my way to work, and I was in and out with my food so fast that I couldn't believe it. I love this place. I remember this one guy Tanner, maybe because he's orange or because he gave me a discount, but thanks guys, well done ? .“

“Great prices for great food that is cooked to order. Can’t ask for more from a quick and easy Chinese food place. Several vegetarian options. The service was very fast and friendly. The indoor seating is meant for quickly eating and leaving and this feels like mostly a takeout place, but I appreciated the option to eat there if you’re starving and want food now, haha.
We ordered:
- Orange Tofu ($11.95) ❤️
- Vegetable Fried Rice ($8.95) ??
- Szechwan String Bean ($11.95) ??
I’d highly recommend the Orange Tofu—a great vegetarian option and the orange sauce was really nice. The tofu was nice and crispy, which I really appreciate. I was also able to customize the spice level of the orange sauce to a 2 or 3 (mild) out of 10, which was perfect for me—just enough to give some flavor, but not too spicy for me to handle.
The Szechwan String Beans were great. A good amount of garlic. Perhaps a bit oily, but still very good.
The Vegetable Fried Rice was unremarkable flavor wise, but a solid staple. The veggies, particularly the broccoli, tasted nice and fresh and crisp and good quality.
Vegetarian options: Tofu with Vegetables ?, Kung Pao Tofu ?️, Orange Tofu ?, Garlic Eggplant ?, Szechwan Green Beans , Steamed Vegetables ? , Vegetable Fried Rice ?, Vegetable Chow Mein ?, Vegetable Udon ?, Vegetable Rice Noodle ?, Vegetable Mushu ?, Egg Drop Soup ?, Tofu Vegetable Soup ?
Parking: You won’t have trouble finding parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: No automatic door, but could roll in if someone held the door for you.“
