Absolutely love their pork and napa buns. Definitely worth getting a bunch and freezing them!
Not sure why this place doesn't have a line out the door. These dumplings and baos remind of the ones in China. You can watch them making everything behind the glass. Highly recommended.
Xiao long bao pork steamed dumpling were the best we had. The wontons are good but the brith is clear and insipid, we actually brought them home to add very tasty homemade broth. The fried pork and chives dumpling were very well hand made not greasy, crispy bottom. The sauces are just chili oil and soy sauce, we will definitely order to go next time, eat at home with our favorite condiments since I think these would go great with Sriracha and good quality Japanese soy sauce...read full review

Based on the reviews, Sunny Dumpling House is a restaurant conveniently located inside 99 Ranch. The atmosphere is nice, very clean, and the service is good, with staff who are nice and accommodating. The food is delicious, with the original flavor pork bao described as fantastic, moist inside with good flavors. The pork and chive water boiled dumplings have a subtle but good flavor. The pork fried dumplings are preferred over the XLB, as they have more broth. The chicken dumplings are very filling. Some items, like the chive & egg and wonton soup, are not as good. The prices are a point of discussion: the XLB and pork fried dumplings are fairly cheap, but the chicken dumplings are $17 for six, which is considered expensive. Overall, it is a hidden gem for casual bites, and the dumplings and baos remind of ones in China, made behind the glass.
