Getting live Maine lobster in San Diego is an absolute treat. Yes, you need to cook it yourself. But if that's what you want, this is your place. I was very grateful to find out that Mainely Lobster & Seafood were open to the public on Saturday's from 10-2... double check their Facebook page for current status. The secret to finding them is .. suite 107. The guys were super nice. We were able to get 2 lb lobsters. A nice find. Lobsters we very tasty.
Lobster is one of my favorite special meals, and I've had it from many places around the country, but I can honestly say that I believe that Mainely Lobsters and Seafood has the best lobster that I've ever had.

My family is from NY/Maine and we love this spot. We've tried to get them over nighted from Maine but this is much easier and cost effective. They sell until sold out and you must get their early. Highly recommend for Lobsters!
