“As a Mexican, I’m very particular about my mariscos, and out of the three Mariscos trucks in El Cajon, this one is by far the best. I love their aguachiles, and their fairly priced fish tacos are bomb. Authentic as it gets, to be honest!!“

“Tried this for the first time a few months ago. Went back again tonight because we enjoyed it so much. The house fried rice that has chicken, beef, and shrimp is amazing!!! Enjoyed it so much we decided to come monthly now. Great value and we get the 20% off coupon which make it a very good value. Good portions sized too.“

“We came from NJ vacation! The burrito city is an amazing place, affordable, delicious and we will return before we go back to NJ. Service is amazing, staff are super friendly and nice. The Shrimp Burrito is the best, chicken fajitas are so good. I give 5 stars.“

“The Food was Really good, the closest I've found to the food in Hawaii. I'm so glad we stopped to get food from here. A little pricey but it was worth it. I just wish it wasn't so far from where I live. Love the food and would definitely recommend it!“

“Order was correct but not exact. On my side wanted rice and got chips instead. On the rolled tacos, I wanted the queso on the side and got the oder with the queso on top. Tried to use the app at the kiosk, I wouldn't take it. I had to do a second order with the person at the counter.“

“This restaurant felt like you were sitting down for dinner at a friend’s Abuela’s house warm, welcoming, and full of amazing homemade flavor. The Molcajete Special was absolutely incredible, packed with flavor and more than enough food to leave you full and happy. The red enchilada sauce had the perfect savory flavor with just a hint of sweetness that made it unforgettable.
Javy was one of the most pleasant servers we’ve had in a long time and took such great care of us throughout the meal. Highly recommend stopping in for a meal if you’re looking for authentic food and a welcoming atmosphere!“

“Top notch food, atmosphere and staff. I tried the salmon bowl and got a chicken bowl for the following day and the first bowl tasted great. The server Nicole did an awesome job and the manager Samantha recognized me and called me by name even though I hadn't been there all summer. It's my favorite Rubios restaurant.“

“Came back to El Cajon from Texas and was craving some CA Mexican food. I tried Ponchos and loved the food. I had the Surf and Turf burrito and the wife had potato rolled tacos. The food was good and hit that spot that only CA Mexican food can.“
