“This is really a hole in the wall just like in Mexico. The best food comes out of those places. The food is fresha nd hot and very good here. We love the tacos. I ordered the chilawuiles and didn't care for them they doused them in sour cream it jsut was not good. All the other food I have had was so good.“

Salsa was tasty and ran legit hot. Yummy marinated carrots 🥕 onions 🌰 jalapeño + peppers 🌶.

“it's the one of the only taco shops out here in this area, near the casinos, before hitting the casinos, salsa bar, the sell beer, micheladas, you can dine inside, burritos were alright, salsa was good, ..place looked clean...check it out..“

“This is the first place I experienced Sombreros Mexican and it quickly became a favorite. My go to order is a chili verde burrito. It's so bursting with deliciousness that they don't wrap it up in paper or foil. They have to use a tray with fork and knife to keep it restrained!

Plus I have never been sick from their food.“

It still taste all the same if not better. 5 rolled tacos with guacamole and a carne asada burrito no sour cream… lots of salsa cucumbers carrots omg such a great flavor. Unfortunately I moved to Los Angeles with my pops. Pops is the best the unfortunately is there isn’t a La posta arrrr. My mother lives in San Diego so that’s the first stop issssssss LA POSTA. I believe it’s a father and son who run this spot and everything we’ve ever ordered has been such good quality, generous portions, and they are such pleasant people who provide great service. “It has been a decade or more since I've visited Sombrero. I used to live in the area. I stopped nearby and almost went in to visit. I was crunched for time so I chose not to eat here. Just being in front brought back many great memories.“

The flavor, the freshness the overall flavor has been spot on. The size of the burritos a pound maybe 1.5 pounds will fill you up. The Steak and Egg Burrito is the BOMB if your hungry you wont be after eating this bad boy!!!! Good crew working there Clean facility just a smidge off the street you sorta have to look for it but its worth it dont fail your appetite!!!!“

“This restaurant felt like you were sitting down for dinner at a friend’s Abuela’s house warm, welcoming, and full of amazing homemade flavor. The Molcajete Special was absolutely incredible, packed with flavor and more than enough food to leave you full and happy. The red enchilada sauce had the perfect savory flavor with just a hint of sweetness that made it unforgettable.

Javy was one of the most pleasant servers we’ve had in a long time and took such great care of us throughout the meal. Highly recommend stopping in for a meal if you’re looking for authentic food and a welcoming atmosphere!“

“Such nice and honest people that work and own this place. I ordered food from DoorDash and I had called to let them know that I only received half of the order and right away. The owner comes to my house, no matter where my address was and she drops it off for me. What a gem of people they are. I will recommend this place for everyone“

“Order was correct but not exact. On my side wanted rice and got chips instead. On the rolled tacos, I wanted the queso on the side and got the oder with the queso on top. Tried to use the app at the kiosk, I wouldn't take it. I had to do a second order with the person at the counter.“

“We live right around the corner from this shop and it took us like 8 months to finally get in there. But!.. after we ate there once we are hooked. The place is cozy and unassuming. But the food is delicious! And the portions are more than generous. I'm 6'4, 240lbs, and the burritos more than fill me up! Real talk! I highly recommend trying this place!Me only "gripe" of I have one? Is that their not open all the time! Lol I'm pretty sure it's family owned and that may be why? But if they were open all the time I could definitely see this place busy!“

The server Nicole did an awesome job and the manager Samantha recognized me and called me by name even though I hadn't been there all summer. It's my favorite Rubios restaurant.“

“Tacos were good. Adobada had good charred flavor and so did asada. Had the regular size tacos. Portion was good. Red salsa was good, spicy but not overpowering. They have a few Arizona tea flavors. Not much interaction with workers, but that's ok. I would come back. Noise level, they had music playing but it was loud enough to hear yet low enough so you can have a conversation at your table at nirmal level.“

“I've been here several times and every time they get my order wrong...Human error is acceptable, being ripped off is NOT acceptable...I ordered 3 potato rolled tacos which are $3.99, I asked for Cilantro & onions instead of lettuce w/the included guacamole on the side, and the included cheese...I got 3 rolled tacos with Cilantro & onions, no guacamole or cheese?!? (They come with cheese, my receipt says NO CHEESE when I specified I wanted it) What I was CHARGED for was 3 beef rolled tacos w/potato which isn't even a thing, for $5.69...on top of that I ordered fries which the menu states are $2.99 but was charged $3.99, extra crispy was extra limp and undercooked...if that wasn't bad enough, they screwed me for another .50 for a credit card fee...NEVER will I go back & yes I definitely will dispute the charge because this isn't ok...Taco Azul is better (I was in a hurry and Taco Azul doesn't have a drive thru) and they ALWAYS get the order right, both food and cost, they have my business from now on...I support small business but these types of actions need to be made public because most small businesses are infinitely honest so the ones who aren't need to go bye bye...“

“The inside seating areas were very clean. The 3 burritos were nice and fat! I gave them a tip before they started and they gave me 3 bags of warm chips with my order. 😋. My two friends loved the California burritos I got for them! Go there, you won't be disappointed. Also, they have a nice and clean areas for salsa and condiments for your food.“

Only complaint I have is the fact that the burritos literally only come with the meat and cheese. I don’t understand that. So after I added all the normal burrito ingredients the price was SO high. Paid $37 for 2 burritos and a cheese quesadilla“
