“I stumbled upon this restaurant while watching YouTube travel guides for our upcoming trip to San Diego. We love unique dining experiences, so this seemed like our kind of eatery. The food & service was excellent. The owner checked on every table & takes pride in his restaurant which shows in the quality of the food. The head meat tacos were excellent! We also loved the consomè con carne soup.“

“Family breakfast to celebrate granddaughter's first birthday. The chilaquiles are what they are known for and are always good! I had the Machaca Sonora and it was really good, different from the typical stewed meat type usually encountered. The biggest hit was a simple corn tamale obviously made in house, perfectly fluffy and delicious.“

“La Sinaloense is a family owned restaurant that serves authentic cuisine from the Sinaloa region of Mexico.

I ordered the tostada del viejon for dinner. The presentation was stunning. It was a really great dish, it looked as good as it tasted. The dish was made up of the freshest ingredients and had lots of flavor.

I also had the jamaica. It was good. It was a nice complement to the meal.

“This place is great.. home cooking mom and pop taco stop.Dont expect 5 star seating. Only have maybe 5 tables but everything was really good.. tacos were good.. and they had steady in and out customers. Everything was fresh.. nothing frozen.. I would recommend this place to anyone.. parking can be a little bit of a problem.. in small strip mall.. will be coming back next time down in San diego.“

The business is completely family owned and locally ran, giving it a special “mom and pop” shop feel. The inside is small but very clean!! “Great little local place for breakfast! Craving a breakfast burrito and this place felt like a home cooked meal!
The tortillas are hand made and the food had flavor & tasted delicious. I ordered the mini chorizo burrito and my husband ordered the ham & egg.
If you’re looking for a deal, the mini burrito for $7 was perfect portion.

Only minus star is the place was really warm sitting inside. No fans or air flow. Felt stuffy while we ate. Good thing we scarfed down our food fast!“

We all have the one we go to for Taco, soup, burritos and such but its wonderful to find a place with great prices and great everything.“

“Wow, the Taco Tuesday tacos here are amazing! I originally ordered for my wife and myself, but they were so good we had to get more to take home. The chicken is seasoned and marinated to perfection, and my wife absolutely loved the birria and carne asada. On top of the great food, the cashier was incredibly polite and welcoming. I've been going to this restaurant for over 10 years and they ate great. The food is delicious. But when she is working her shift she brings my experience down. Today I asked her if I had done something to offend her? Why is she so rude to me? I treat her with kindness and respect and she ALWAYS greets me with discomfort. Like I'm not welcome. She told me she's on her period. My response was that she must ALWAYS be on her period cause she's ALWAYS so rude to me. She didn't like my response and looked at me up and down and gave me a cold long silent stare down. And I expected that coming from her. She had to to he a family member cause she doesn't care about her job. So this msg is also to the owner. Teach her some kindness/customer service because she is giving your business a bad name as a representative.“

“Don Pedro Taco Shop is one of my favorite spots for authentic Mexican food! Everything tastes homemade, flavorful, and fresh, and they have a great selection of traditional dishes.

Their pozole is absolutely delicious — rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. But my personal favorite is the Flying Saucer! It’s one of those things I keep coming back for and never get tired of.
