“I created this YELP account for pizza reviews only and *technically* this is called a Mexican pizza. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm obsessed with Taco Bell. My office is covered in Taco Bell art. I have a Taco Bell themed Christmas tree. My peloton leaderboard name is PelForTacoBell. My first husband and I just renewed our vows at the Taco Bell wedding chapel in Las Vegas. The Mexican Pizza returned thanks to Doja Cat and Dolly Parton (highly recommend watching the musical on YouTube). The Mexican pizza is a 7/10 and the musical is a solid 12/10. Minus one star because this used to be a cantina location with alcohol and I'm pretty heartbroken that now it's just a regular Taco Bell.“
“El Cocktel esta super bien los tacos aun mas. Si recominedo ir hasta ir mas seguido. Y la muchacha que atendio era amable y hizo bien el trabajo en las ordenes y me dio el cambio correcto porque cambie mi orden. Lo unico malo de aki es que creeo que la muchacha esta casada.Parking: Parked right in front of the restaurant.“
“Truly the best birria taco I’ve ever had combined with wonderful service and hospitality makes this a must visit for anyone in San Diego, even if it’s out of the way.We got the combo with 4 different types of birria taco and all of them were spectacular. The queso and chupacabra were my personal favourites but I’m not sure you could go wrong with anything here. Two tacos will fill you up. Four will make you ready to burst at the seams. The birria is so tender, juicy, and flavourful without being overseasoned (which is one of the pitfalls a lot of these places have). The consommé is to die for- spectacularly flavourful, rich, meaty, without being overly fatty. You could really drink it as a soup. Get the agua fresca to wash it all down and to help cut through the richness of the birria.Even leftover hours later, these tacos were absolutely incredible. What’s telling is also when cooled, you don’t see the standard layer of fat you might see on the consommé from other places. Really high quality stuff from people who have been making this for clearly a very long time and who have it down to an artWe were also the only foreign people there but they were extremely friendly and patient with explaining each of their choices and their recommendations. Really a super warm, family run place that deserves all of its incredible accolades.“
“Their Adobada Mulas (pictured) make it hard for me to quit pork. ?My only weakness to eating pork is these Adobada Mulitas with everything on it. Squeeze extra lime and add that red sauce and you'll thank me later. This is the San Diego staple for late night Mexican food. I feel bad for tourists who come to San Diego and haven't had the chance to try Tacos El Gordo's tacos. It's a must!“
“La Central Birria has excellent service, food and reasonable prices. The birria tacos and consome were very tasty. The quesadilla was served on a house made tortilla. Miguel was so friendly and made it a great first-timer experience. I will definitely be back.“
“So many things I could have ordered, the options on this menu are vast, delicious, and represent both the American diner the place started as as well as the Mexican roots of the owner. If you like good food this super friendly, no fuss but all flavour place, is one of your best options on Coronado. Went with my kids who loved the huge pancakes, soft french toast, and crispy fries. I had the BLT-A, tried some of my dads fish tacos and my wife’s chorizo burrito, and look forward to going back for it all again sometime soon.“
“Just ate here today food was amazing service amazing and the chef came over and introduced him self honestly was the best tacos I have ever tasted I have ate tacos in tj. Tacos g and all the other ones this is way better and better priced our server was super nice and extremely helpful she was the only server doing the work of 3 this place is my go-to for tacos ? I'm in love with this place so glad it's close to the house“
“Very trendy place in Barrio Logan. Our waitress was awesome! It was 6 of us and she helped pick some tasty drinks to get our girls night out started. Came here in a Friday night, it was pretty busy but we had reservations so they sat us quick!! Good place to just drink and have fun!“
“We’re from out of town but were craving some good fish tacos. TJ’s did not disappoint! We got the octopus, ahi tuna, garlic shrimp, taqueso shrimp, and smoked tuna tacos. The octopus and smoked tuna were our favorites! Our server was extremely helpful and provided great service.“
“I love third avenue and Talavera really brings the community together for food that makes you feel like you're home. I brought my family here and they enjoyed everything. Even my cousin enjoyed her pancakes! The menudo was HUGE but so good and I ate myself into a fat nap. I wish the wait wasn't so long to get in, we waited about an hour but it was a busy Sunday afternoon. Families galore! At least the farmers market is Sundays across the street so we passed the time walking it. The people at Talavera are kind and quick with getting drinks to your table and orders in too. Always making sure you're taken care of. Love coming by when I can.“
“Al Pastor Town truely lives up to their name as they offer 5 unique types of Al pastor meats and more. I was there when they opened at noon and got the Al Pastor Roio Burrito.Service was pretty slow but the staff were great. Eventually, I got the burrito and took the most blissful first bite. The burrito was packed with meat where every bite caused juices to come gushing out and cover every taste bud. Just when I thought it couldn't get better, I tried using their 2 sauces: salsa verde (not very spicy) and what I think is mango habanero (spicier). The owner really played matchmaker because the burrito and the sauces was a complete match. 5/5 I'll need to come back and try the rest of the flavors.Atmosphere was great imo but is not for everybody. The place is inside a mart and is not really a place to sit down and dine.“
“We traveled to San Diego from Idaho for spring break. We ate there 8 years ago and I made it a point to come back when we visited Coronado Beach. Staff, atmosphere, and food were all as great as I remembered. Thanks for making every visit great.Kid-friendliness: Waiter was very patient with the kids. My daughter even spilled her drink and he rushed over to clean it up and made her feel better telling her it's good she did that cuz they gotta wash the tables somehow.“
“Ordered the fish tacos, huge tacos, absolutely delicious with everything on it. Also ordered the shrimp quesadilla...huge portion, also delicious great flavors. I'm giving it 4 stars because the salsas were horrible. They are placed where the sun hits and so it smelled a bit sour, not fresh or good for my liking. I asked for fresh refrigerated salsa n got the same watered-down habanero salsa. I tried it because i need the spiciness but honestly it just made my tortilla soggy n messy. Please work on your salsas and i will change from a 4 to a 5 star review. I will be back in a couple weeks.“
“I've lived in the area for almost my entire life and never knew of this place! Excellent food, drinks, and customer service. The prices are very fair. This may now be my favorite Mexican restaurant. Complimentary chips and salsa. And when we were running low on chips, the server refilled it without us even asking! WOW, I've never had that happen and it made me so happy. The margaritas and micheladas are delicious. They come with the chamoy candy rim. The margaritas have the same creamy/icy texture (so not like a slurpee) as my favorite taco spot in Tijuana. I ordered 2 apps as my meal, queso fundido and fiesta flautas. I enjoyed both and they were the perfect size. I would've liked the queso to be a bit more cheesy/melted down, but the chorizo was perfect. The actual entrees come in large portions and can be shared between 2 people. I can't wait to be back!!“
“This place came recommended, and well, it didn't disappoint, although it didn't wow me either. Perhaps I wasn't in a mood, but I rate it 7. There are 3 locations, and we went to the 2nd location on Main Street. Portions were good, tad too expensive for the quality of food. All in all, it was ok.“
“Went for the coffee got two different ones to try both were very good, got three different burritos all felt / tastes homemade which I appreciated. Parking was a little tough and it's not very big not a lot of places to sit but the coffee shop itself was super cute. Got everything we ordered pretty quickly would definitely do again.“
“This was my first time at this restaurant. I was with a friend so it was a party of two. It is a small restaurant. Clean and airy. It has outside seating as well as inside. Staff were very cheery and greeted us when we walked in. If eating there, sit down at an open table, and they will come and take your order. For take out order at the counter. We actually went for the Chili Reyano as a friend told us it was very good. We were just a little late as someone had gotten there earlier and bought them out for the day. We will be going back again to get it.I had 5 rolled tacos with shredded pork. They were very good and fresh. (I had to order guacamole separate.) My friend had a carnitos barrito and really liked it. Neither items came with any sides (beans and rice), but the servings were so big they were not needed. Both of us ended up taking part of it home.I really enjoyed my visit and recommend it. I will be going back.“
“This place is delicious!!! I was impressed with the service and quality of the food! Tacos El Gordo and Ahumaderas is a 1 out of 5 compared to this place! I didn’t even know this place existed until family members came from out of state and we looked for a good taco place. Their carne asada and adobada is DELICIOUS! The agua frescas are so good and the churros yum yum yum! You must try!“
“Great spot and not too busy at lunch so we found parking out front and a great table with the windows open!Best aguachile ceviche bowl I’ve had in a while- definitely get it with mango! The owner is super friendly and welcomes all- will be back here for the food and atmosphere. Great to see local businesses thriving in this area“
“The best place for breakfast on this side of the border! Authentic is here! Yes sir! Yes ma'am! Come through it's win, win ? win situation! No regrets except not finding this place sooner ??!Congratulations to the cook, the owner and everyone else that makes this place different! Great difference!“
“We hired ¡SALUD TACOS! & Catering to cater our wedding welcome party, and I can't recommend them highly enough for your next event! Salud was communicative and helpful throughout the planning process, helping us to figure out that the full service option was the best option for our guest count and location. The tacos were absolutely delicious, and our guests have continued to rave about them. We highly recommend the carne asada, pollo asado, and veggie options, but I'm sure they're all equally delicious. The staff and servers were also so friendly and a joy to work with. Highly recommend for your next event!“
“Out again with my mother for brunch on this beautiful sunny day in san diego, the cajeta latte and iced coffee called my name. Place is cute and comfy with great customer service and the server was attentive and accommodated us very well. The hot cajeta latte was delicious accompanied by a small biscuit nice and creamy with a well balanced flavor. The chavo del 8 torta was also a big hit french fries nicely seasoned and crispy. We finished it off with a cajeta banana and strawberry crepe which was also delicious not too sweet and not too overpowering which was great as a dessert I will most definitely be coming back to try more from their menu.“
“The adobada is a must try when you're here! I got one but I suspect I should have gotten two... and maybe the adobada fries. I will be back! It's a bit confusing for your first time, but the security guards are great at directing people into the respective meat lines to order. If possible, I would also ask for extra onions and cilantro since they seem to skimp on this a bit. Ambience: I can see how it gets busy in here, by the time I was done with both meat lines I was able to snag a seat by the window counter. Everyone I interacted with who worked there was friendly, patient and helpful.“
“Probably the healthiest grab-and-go option on the beach! Service was fast and friendly. The ceviche was delicious and fresh. The inside of the restaurant was cute and clean, but it's so close to the beach that I found a bench with an ocean view to eat at. I want to try the shrimp tacos next.“
“Visited the Liberty Station location. It had a lively ambiance and delicious food. Menu is simple but flavor is anything but. Service was impeccable from the sit down to the change of waiters. Definitely keep this place in mind for brunch or for entertaining out of town guests. It will not disappoint.“
“Wow! I'm impressed. Did I mention handmade yellow corn tortillas!!I should have taken more pictures from this gem, the vibe and feel of this place isn't well represented from the outside of this building. Had the menudo and birria taco w chicharrón. Epicly delicious and the place is so clean and well kept. Plenty of staff working ensuring you're taken care of. Food is authentic 100!Highly recommend this place.Parking: Plenty of parking!!Kid-friendliness: Yup, definitely a family vibe.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space for wheelchair access and roll-up.“
“Tucked in a corner known mostly to locals, Garcia's Mexican Food is a hidden gem I discovered through social media. It's small, with limited parking, offering both cozy indoor seating and take-out. Opting for the carne asada plate, I was quickly served by the friendly staff. The food, especially the carne asada, had a great flavor to it. The flour tortillas that came with my meal were also very tasty.Owned by a welcoming family, this place adds a personal touch to the dining experience. I'm looking forward to returning for breakfast. If you're after a spot that feels exclusive and serves great food, Garcia's is it.“
“Came here for breakfast with my family. I had the birria chilaquiles. You can make them as spicy as you want. Everything we ate was delicious. The service was excellent. Everyone was so nice!!! I would recommend adding a tip jar as there is no where to tip and they deserve it. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.“
“Y'all, there's a reason for these nearly 5 stars! I had lunch from there today for the first time, and it was delicious, can't wait to go back and try something else. The service was a lot slow, but it's because there's a lot of people trying to get in and out. Still, the staff was above and beyond. 10/10, would recommend.“
“Well rated Mexican & Guatemalan eatery in a National City strop mall. You could almost miss this place because it looks like a small takeout w a funny name, but it is worth the stop. We had a very healthy Veggie omelet w house potatoes & (buttery) pancake side along w a bowl of Oatmeal & a skillet breakfast. Everything was tasty & delicious. Great salsas too, red & green. Lots of new stuff on the menu that I want to try when I go back!“
“TJ Oyster Bar in Bonita, CA, is an absolute gem! The seafood is exceptionally fresh, and the flavors are nothing short of spectacular. From the mouthwatering fish tacos to the delightful ceviche, every dish is a testament to their commitment to quality. The casual yet inviting atmosphere, paired with friendly service, makes it a standout dining experience. If you're a seafood lover, TJ Oyster Bar is a must-visit destination. Five stars without a doubt!“
“They are right outside a liquor store in a parking lot, which I love. Honestly, when I saw that, I knew I had to try them. They are open everyday starting at 5pm. They have a large variety of food options. We tried the asada and adobada. Probably the best weve had so far. It's very difficult to find good authentic tasting tacos in the U.S. in my opinion. These were so good that we're going to come back. They are family run and they are very nice.“
“Don't pass up this place! It's a small place tucked away in the corner of a sleepy strip mall... but the adobada torta!!! Chefs kiss!I bring all my friends and coworkers here and every one is hooked! I've had other tortas but adobada tops them all! The only place i'll order a torta these days and it even comes with a bag of carrots and jalapeños.Parking: Always ample parking“
“The food has great taste, everything was well seasoned. ?The staff is personable and extremely attentive to your order.Recommend to everyone in the area, and anyone looking to eat really good Mexican Food. They will not disappoint. Will come back for more. ?“

“It is a hole in the wall that delivers the best tacos and burritos. We tried their street tacos with shrimp, veg burritos, and chicken burritos. The tacos and veg burritos had us come back second time. You have tables outside for a quick bite. Definitely give it a try and you will like it. The places has a good traffic all the time and service is fast.“
“Superb fish tacos with consomé broth. Fish was breaded but I could still taste the fish freshness. The chipotle sauce with red pickled onions complemented the taco flavor exquisitely. The restvof my party had birria and shrimp tacos and they were as pleased as me. I didn't get pictures of those though. Size wise, the tacos are good decent size. A bit bigger than average“
“I just finished enjoying the classic chilaquiles with green sauce, eggs over easy, and machaca. It just doesn't get any better. This is a hearty meal that satisfies down to your boots. The food was so great that I didn't take the time to shoot a photo. You'll just have to come try it. You won't be sorry.“
“Went to the Market on 8th for a late lunch, The place was not busy, but I had to park a block away, parking is better at night.I had the brisket plate from Butcher Shop, very good, tender and the potatoes were very good. My wife had the Chicken Karage Rice Bowl, very good flavors.“
“The food is delicious, good service, local. I usually get the pupusa revuelta and the spinach with cheese. The curtido is pickled cabbage mixture that adds flavor to the pupusa if you'd like. I enjoy it on top mine. They set up a food truck at the National City Swapmeet as well on weekends if you want a bite to eat while digging for treasures. ?“
“The service was good, but the carne asada Tortas were terrible. Very little meat a lot of refried beans. Rolled tacos Dairy creamy and sake my experience was I threw all of it in the trash we could need it. A waste of $40 I would not recommend that restaurant to anybody. It it wasn't like that before. Horrible experience.“
“Their seafood is so good, I always come or order from DoorDash if you love seafood I recommend this place, try their aguachile is so good, it’s has so much flavor.Parking: Parking is not hard to find there’s plenty of spaces to park wether it be in the street or in the parking lot they have.“
“Taquizas Los Crunches catered my birthday party on Saturday. The communication was great, they showed up on time, and the food was absolutely delicious. They have extra touches that many taco caterers. don't have like radishes a wonderful, cactus salad, fresh fruit drinks and the beans weren't refried. Everything was so fresh. Definitely hiring them again!“
“We've been to Casa Machado several times in the past year or so. Although service has been inconsistent (sometimes great, sometimes not so much) the food has always been very good! We like both salsas they offer and the all meals we've had were delicious (birria, combos, carnitas, etc) with a good portion size. The margaritas are average - a little too sweet /sour for my preference. The location is a bit odd but it has a decent vibe. We will keep coming back!“
“Very well seasoned fish and shrimp in the tacos. Super crunchy and golden brown. Prices are very reasonable too. Stuffed with just the right amount of cabbage and finely chopped tomato/cilantro. Tons of hot sauce to choose from. Casual but friendly. Parking was tight.“
“Besides getting my order wrong, the food was actually pretty amazing and tasty. From the name, I take, is a blend of Fillipino and Mexican cuisine. What can go wrong? The restaurant was cozy and music to my taste. I dug it. I would definitely eat here again. They got an extra star for datability. I would take my date here. It wasn't overcrowded or overpricey.“
“Going to a new restaurant, I always judge the place by having a few go-to's in mind to check out. For Mexican food, it's their beans. Right? If they can't make good beans, then I know "they aren't worth beans." This place serves good beans. Not refried here, just simple tasty beans. To me, that's getting their foot in my door. The chicken is outstanding. Always. I've been coming here for many years, they never disappoint. Yes, a little hole in the wall, you haven't maybe heard of them, and it's best as a takeaway (find some place and sit by the water at the bay)... Try it, tho. Really good food and good service. Parking's tight but alright.“
“It was so welcoming, the decor felt like I was back in Europe during Christmas season. The was very good. Definitely recomed.Vegetarian options: If you want vegan, let her know she make what you askDietary restrictions: If you have restrictions again she will make sure you get what you ask for.Parking: You can park on the street before the turn on her street it's only 2 Homes away.Kid-friendliness: It's on a patio... so if you say your having little ones she can accommodate.“
“This place is so good. The fish taco was amazing and the adobada militas was so so good. The horchata is really good as well, it is on the sweeter side though just so yall know! The service was great. The lady at the cash register was so nice. Food came out quick The place felt very chill. They have two picnic tables outside and about 4 tables inside.“
