“A little hole in the wall, I couldn’t even find. Walked everywhere and asked everyone. The finally found it. Nice and friendly cashier who I jokingly negotiated to use restroom if I bought food. The complimentary chips were great touch.The fish taco was fresh and crispy with cabbage slaw and perfect white sauce. It all worked out perfectly. One of the best fish tacos I ever had. The tripa was crispy and worked out well. Salsa were okay but could use work. Overall perfect taqueria for fish tacos. Must try in San Ysidro.“

“We came in on a Tuesday at noon, it’s was pretty busy food came out no later than 30 minutes. Everything was high quality food. Service was good. The only thing I would say is that they need to add napkins on the tables and alcohol wipes.. other than that no problem“

“Above and beyond customer service. Food was some of the best I’ve had for birria. I had a torta with birria tatemada and an egg also came with consume. The average person probably won’t finish it in one sitting delicious. Also had an iced coffee that had a hint of cinnamon sweet but not too sweet it was perfect. Can’t wait to go back and try different plates. Highly recommend this birria spot. They have an award for authentic food from Union Tribune I can verify that.“

“I stumbled upon this restaurant while watching YouTube travel guides for our upcoming trip to San Diego. We love unique dining experiences, so this seemed like our kind of eatery. The food & service was excellent. The owner checked on every table & takes pride in his restaurant which shows in the quality of the food. The head meat tacos were excellent! We also loved the consomè con carne soup.“

“I stopped for lunch on a business trip. The service and food were great. I had the chicken fajitas for lunch. They provide chips and salsa with before and during the meal.
The only difficulty on stopping here was the parking. It is very limited and street parking is the only accessible option. I had to walk about 4 blocks but will not detour me from visiting again the next time I am in the area. Also I would assume will depend on the time of day that you visit.

“I was in the neighborhood and hungry and I found this place and boy what a treasure I can't wait to go back into this neighborhood . I got the adobada taco and the queso adobada . It was the perfect amount of food I couldn't have eaten anymore and I paired it with a negra Modelo which held up very nicely to the savory deliciousness of the adobada“

“Hands Down the best carnitas of all of San Diego. My family and I always buy our carnitas here. We get the carnitas by the pound and they are delicious 😋. They also catered 2 of my party events my baby shower and my daughter's 1st communion at a reasonable price. I said I wanted for 50 people and they set it up in party trays and I picked it up. It came with everything: carnitas, rice, beans ,3 salsas, chiles with sauted onions, guacamole and chicharrones. To ensure that they stayed walm i put the food on party trays warmers. My guest loved it and was a hit ♥️🙏“

“I LOVE this place. I always order chicken sopes but with grilled chicken and no lettuce. Yesterday, I tried the Albeto burrito and it was phenomenal, tastes similar to a Philly cheesesteak but better.
I’ve been eating here for four years and food has always been consistent and good.“

The service is super fast and also accomdates our requests! The place was super clean and even though we were the last dine in customers they didn't make us hurry or anything. Thanks guys!“

“I was in the area and wanted something kind of healthy, so I decided to order two tacos — one pescado a la plancha and one camarón a la plancha. I was a little bummed they messed up my order and gave me two pescado instead, but honestly, they were really good! I’m pretty picky when it comes to fish, but it had great flavor and wasn’t fishy at all. The salsas and chips were tasty too!
I also tried their jugo verde — I love green juice, but not everyone makes it how I like it. This place actually makes a really good one!
And staff were great too. Not mad at all but sad. I didn’t got to try the Camaron.“

“TLDR: Fresh and hot food, with good variety, good and fast service, good vibes! Fair cost: $12-$15. Very filling.
Recommendation: Shrimp Burrito.
Food is always hot, the cashier is kind and respectful, variety of food and drinks, quality meats, everything feels fresh, overall an awesome place, it got relatively busy when I went and every time someone left they said thank you. It was also chilly enough inside to keep you comfortable. They had a TV with boxing matches playing so I was entertained. They made sure to keep the tables clean for new customers, my order took about 5 minutes to get out and it wasn't poorly cooked or anything, I'd recommend the shrimp burrito. Great vibes overall! Will definitely come back again :)“

“This was my first time at a Las Michoacanas and let me tell you that this place has to be the best Mexican food I’ve ever had tried. It’s very fresh like if it was homemade, and the lady was very nice and if I had a couple a bucks I would’ve tipped her. Best service and best food ever. If your in the area please come here it’s such a good spot.“
