Uncover Lemon Grove's Mexican dining scene with Restaurantji's insights.
“We moved in the neighborhood recently and decided to give this a try. The service was quick and very friendly. The food was even more amazing. We tried the torta and quesabirria and were amazed at the quality. Some of the best in SD. Will definitely come back.“
“Everything about this place has been graced by humanity's urgency of success and ambition. This cafe is absolutely the most wonderful best cafe in all of the west coast and dare I say in the entire united states. In all my years of living i have never experienced such an experience as wonderful as dinning in this wonderful place. A small little piece of heaven on earth.“
“I normally go to burros and fries across the street but I found this spot on Yelp and read the reviews. They're right, food is delicious, I ordered carne asada fries, a bean and cheese burrito, 5 rolled tacos and a large horchata for $31 that was A LOT of food. Red salsa was spicy and had a good flavor. The restaurant is clean, the service was fast. Great taco shop. Here's a picture of the large order of carne asada fries, it was packed with meat“
“This place is great. We've been coming here since we moved into the area, and the flavors + service are all wonderful. Feels like genuine, traditional cooking and there's always flavors that surprise us here. A tad bit pricey cause of COVID but they're wearing masks and take good care of the place (gotta support the family business owners!!) So far have tried the fajitas burrito (awesome), every taco Tuesday flavor (longanisa and carne asada were my favs), and the carnitas family meal.“
“Loved the food. Great prices and great service.Parking: There is parking in the front of the restaurant, but when it fills up there is a large parking lot for customers behind the building. Not far to walk to get to the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Lots of high chairs for small kids to eat at the tables to eat.“
“Excellent food truck carnitas.... They use Gabriel's tortillas, so you know they care about the quality of their food. The tacos surtidos were exactly as they should be...a nice spicy salsa to accompany the moist pork... With a hint of lime to cut through it all... Bravo! Location isn't exactly family friendly... But bonus if you like the locals only dive bar scene.“
“Nothing really stands out about this cotijas. They are a really basic, normal, satisfactory, average, just hairs above boring taco shop. The salsas are not that good either. The one and only cashier I have seen there is, well kinda of a .......“
“Everything tastes great and is cooked to perfection the aguas are on point the cook is super friendly and the cashier was very friendly and professional and the price is not outrageous. I had carne asada chips there and they were crispy and not burned the beans had good flavor and so did the meat.“
“Difficult to understand employee on the drive thru communication system that is malfunctioning most of the time when placing an order, customer service at the window could be better, food delivery time average, food taste and quality is good.“
“A great place for lunch. A half pound burger combo may be the best food value in Lemon Grove. The surf and turf burrito was amazing as well. The biggest plate of carne asada chips, I've ever seen.
