“Since coming here two weeks ago, I have been wanting to find a local coffee shop where I live to have the exact ambiance as this place. My partner coaches in SD and I stumbled upon this place, the drinks, the customer service, and overall the coffee shop was so cute! I love plants and they have an area you can sit in surrounded by plants and work on your computer. My brother had a refresher and I had an iced coffee. Both were delicious! I would love to come again when visiting SD. Hopefully we can get a place like this in North County!“

“i frequent Lollicup for the Boba which is an option for any drink on their menu- hot, warm, or cold. The menu covers the usual flavored drink combos with just as many unique signature flavored drinks. Of course, like the Boba you have the option to get a traditional iced tea or hot cocoa But Why?? Lollicup also serves Slushies, Smoothies, Milkshakes, Snow, Dairy & Non-Dairy just ask the staff are always friendly and know their drink ??. Been here for 10+ years and Lollicup does not disappoint/hits the brain-freezing/warm-soothing spot Everytime.“

“I loved everything about this place. The coffee was amazing, the food was so delicious and the service was superb. They didn't have the Cubano sandwich I wanted (wah wah) but the server suggested the ABC toast. I enjoyed it so much I had to take one to go for my daughter to try just so I wouldn't have to try to describe the amazingness of it. I also got the Mexican mocha with oatmilk and it was incredible. So incredible that I was completely disappointed with my coffee at home the next morning. All in all, great drinks, great food, great people, great prices.“

“We had the chance to try the banana crème latte, and it was absolutely delicious! The café may be small, but it has a cozy atmosphere, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. I’m so glad we stopped by, the only downside is that we live too far away to visit more often.“

“This is a very laid-back inviting coffee shop. It's a little kiosk on a patio with plenty of shaded seating. They offer a variety of espresso based beverages, smoothies, teas, pastries, and locally made breakfast burritos.

I had a cortado with 2% milk for $4. It was well made. It was a little strong up front, but it settled after a bit to a smooth and rich flavor. I enjoyed it very much. I also enjoyed the friendly conversation offered by the gent running the kiosk and some of the locals that visited.

“I got the soy chorizo burrito with breakfast potatoes and a mimosa. There's some other veggie options like a veg omelette, a wrap, chilaquiles, impossible burger, and some other things. Coffee and drink selection looks good. There's a nice little patio outside I sat in. There's a few 1 hr reserved spots in the parking garage for this place. Definitely a nice morning treat for myself.

This place is hidden gem that will surprise you how amazing their food and service is. We truly did not expect much and left thinking of when we could go back. “This is one of my two local Starbucks stores, one of which is north of where I live and actually at the bottom of a very steep incline whereas the other is a neighborhood away to the east along an utterly level and curveless stretch of street with wide sidewalks and crosswalks with coordinated traffic lights.This latter, in Chula Vista, California, on E. Palomar Street at Medical Center Drive / Brandywine Avenue is my destination this afternoon, a day after my late mother's birth anniversary and here this evening to do the New York Times Sunday Crossword Puzzle from the day before her birthday "with" her! “Hidden health Cafe/Coffee bar on third avenue. They open at 5:30am Mon-Fri! Great way to start your day. They have a variety of smoothies/coffee flavors and treats. Staff is very nice. I wanted to tip on the pinpad..but could not? Cash only. I hope the owner changes it soon. Recomend coffee heads to try it out muscle heads! ? and every1 in between“

“I always order a decaf caramel frappe. Every Starbucks makes it differently. This location is our family favorite. They make all 3 of our drinks the absolute best. And even though they’re always super busy here, they do their best to smile and offer equally pleasant customer service.“

“My daughter had raved about this place for weeks since it’s opening last year. I would say, within the past year, I must have eaten at Rose D’ Amour Cafe with family members several times already. Honestly, the place had caught my curiosity since the days of Yeung Lew, a Chinese restaurant before Cafe D’ Amour (same location and size).

On my first visit to Rose D’ Amour, (with my adult children), I was immediately enamored by its cute, charming and interior decor. From the appearance of what the outside looked like, I had a hunch the inside would look equally nice. Well done! We were greeted and seated immediately next to the window area. On all occasions, my preference was to dine indoor verses the patio area.

Yes, service is on the slow but was worth the wait each time. Just don’t come starving ;) Servers need to be more attentive, be not so forgetful and basically communicate with their customers while waiting for their order. As for the cook, big shout out for his delicious, decorative and good-portioned dishes.

Favorites: chilaquiles, mole, omelettes, crepes, waffles, and drinks (matcha raspberry and ferrero rocher latte)

Non favorites: open til 2pm

Lastly, although not a coffee drinker, I hear Rose D’ Amour serves them well with an assortment to choose from.

At least try their coffee if you don’t have the time to eat a meal

“Really nice Starbucks location inside the Target! We like to stop by to purchase a beverage before doing our shopping at Target. Each time the drinks are make well and I have never had a complaint. Overall, great experience and very friendly staff. I definitely recommend this Starbucks!“

“I picked this place because of its eclectic set of traditional tea cups I thought were very cute. I made it a girls day with my mother in law, niece and my daughter who is autistic. The reactions were mixed with the kids( age 4/7)but it was definitely an experience that was pleasant. My daughter again who is autistic loved everything about this tea shop.Out of the who experience I was surprised by the wide variety of tea options and by the end I walked away with two teas and some lemon curd. I will definitely be going back.“
