“We had awesome service by Dern! He was polite, friendly and outgoing. (Killer now tie too!) He made our experience so fun! I even witnessed his care for his customers as I watched him ensure an elderly man did not fall walking to the bathroom. Also, he seemed to interact positively with his teammates too. Thanks Dern! The facility and restrooms were clean. It was like stepping back in time. There are a lot of nostalgic things to take in. My husband and I split a classic hamburger, crinkle fries and a strawberry malt. All of it was delicious. My husband said, “if we lived here, I’d be a regular.”“

“Better Buzz Coffee Coronado is a really nice spot if you’re looking for a relaxed place to grab coffee, breakfast, or a quick snack while exploring Coronado. The location on Orange Avenue has a lively, modern atmosphere that fits the beach-town feel, and it’s conveniently located near the Hotel del Coronado. I really liked the variety on the menu because there’s more than just regular coffee—you can choose from creative lattes, cold brew, refreshers, smoothies, acai bowls, avocado toast, sandwiches, and pastries. The coffee drinks are flavorful and a little on the sweeter side, so they feel more like a treat than an everyday cup of coffee. The staff also help keep things moving when it gets busy, while still giving the place a friendly and welcoming feel. Overall, it’s a convenient place to meet friends, grab breakfast, or pick up a drink before heading around Coronado.“
