“Great place to get coffee,super friendly and patient staff. I had the Cognitive Mushroom before and today I tried the Midnight Vietnamese both decaf I loved them both. Make sure to also try their protein donuts, my favorite is chocolate. Indoor and outdoor seating beautiful views and you can take a little walk while you enjoy your drink.“

“I am new to IB and am just so impressed with Katy's Cafe! They are busy (so you know they're good!), but they get your order out quick. The staff is friendly, inviting and accommodating! I had my dog and daughter and they could obviously tell that I had my hands full and brought my order outside to me without me even asking. I have definitely found my go to local coffee shop!“

“I like to get chai and matcha here. Prices start at $5.50 for specialty coffee and non-coffee drinks which is very reasonable. They also have pup cups for your dogs and are generous with whipped cream.
Plenty of seating available or you can take the coffee to the beach or walk. Baristas change often but I never had any inconsistencies with my drinks. The young girl working there is really sweet.
I recommend this place for good prices and dog-friendliness.“

“An IE gal traveling far for some pizza! I was told if I want great pizza to stop here and I was not disappointed! We had a mini meat lovers and a medium spicy BBQ! Very happy with our choices! We also had an order garlic bread sticks! Everything was filling! Make sure you stop here for some yummy pizza! 😋“

“I had such an awesome experience at Cowabunga Ice Cream! Mick, Gabe, and Emma K were hands down the nicest, friendliest people I’ve ever met at an ice cream shop. They greeted me with such a warm and genuine welcome that it instantly made me feel at home. You can tell they truly care about making customers happy.
The atmosphere was fun, upbeat, and inviting — the kind of place that makes you want to hang out for a while (and definitely come back again!). Great people, great vibes, and of course, AMAZING ice cream.

“Stumbled upon this place looking for a coffee like an hour ago. Had good reviews, decided to try it without any recon on what I wanted to order. I asked about the Kos latte and Owner/Cashier said something I didn’t quite hear except pistachio and cold foam. I said yeah, two of those, one for me and one for my wife. Received the drinks and realized it was matcha, which is fine. I wanted coffee coffee but matcha for caffeine would suffice. Took one sip and almost busted. Holy heck was it amazing. Literally one of the best drinks I’ve ever had the pleasure of trying. Easily best matcha I’ve ever had. Perfectly sweet but stayed true to the pistachio and matcha flavor. Amazing. Sadly I don’t live close enough to visit often but I need to come back to try other drinks. Definitely recommend.“

“I was visiting my son and, while we were out walking, we stopped for coffee. It was a wonderful experience, and the coffee was excellent—I had a latte with two shots of espresso. Before leaving, I asked if I could buy some beans to take home, and I’m so glad I did. Yesterday, I ground them and made a latte, and the first sip instantly took me back to Coronado. “AMAZING!! My husband and I went to San Diego for a quick getaway and wanted to try Chiefy Cafe based on the reviews. We were so glad we did as the coffee and food is Amazing! We ordered the Open Mind Fat Burner, Mexicano Latte, Acai Bowl, and Turkey Bacon Avocado Croissant. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious - we wanted to savor every bite!! The staff is so friendly and Camile customized the Turkey Bacon Avo without the bread for me, as I am gluten free. We only had 2 days left in SD and went back to Chiefy Cafe and ordered the same thing each day. Camile & Larissa assisted us and were awesome! HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHIEFY CAFE!!“

“If you are looking for quality coffee, service and atmosphere this is your place.
I waited outside with a group of friends for 15/20 minutes before they opened the door for us. Once seated, not only did they make it clear but encouraged us to take our time, enjoy the space and the drinks. We spent 3hrs spending quality, undistracted time with each other. The coffee, matcha and avo toasts we ordered were exceptional.

The atmosphere made the experience feel intentional. Not once did I wonder “where is my coffee or server…” or felt like we were being rushed out.

This was THE BEST San Diego coffee AND restaurant experience I’ve had in years.

If you are going to give this place a shot (and I recommend you do), you are going to wait and that’s okay. Enjoy it.“

“Mujer Divina has easily become my favorite coffee spot. The moment you walk in, you feel the warmth, beautiful décor, a relaxing vibe, and staff who genuinely make you feel welcome. Their drinks are always chef’s kiss, from the smooth lattes to the specialty flavors you can’t find anywhere else.

And I have to shout out Niko!! truly an amazing barista. Always kind, always patient, and ALWAYS gets my drink just right. You can tell he loves what he does, and it makes the whole experience even better.

I also love that it’s mujer-owned and full of heart. You can taste the love in every cup and feel it in the atmosphere. Whether I’m grabbing something quick or staying to unwind, this place never disappoints.
