14 Best Vegan Restaurants in Imperial Beach

“I was recently in the Imperial Beach area and stopped by Trident Coffee. I went with the breakfast burrito which was made with a Gluten Free Tortilla, eggs, sausage, cheese, hash browns, garlic, and onion. It was absolutely delicious. I really appreciated how the ingredients were chopped up really small. They also had chipotle mayo available on the side but I did not try that.

For the coffee, I went with a decaf salted caramel mocha iced cold brew with oat milk, 15/10. So good.

The service was great, the gals working at the register were so nice. In addition, the place was very clean. My total for the two items, including tax was $23.67.

If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely be stopping by.“

“First visit. Nice restaurant. We tried the beef ravioli and lasagna; both delicious. Several other menu options sound amazing; look forward to trying those on our next visits.“

“I am new to IB and am just so impressed with Katy's Cafe! They are busy (so you know they're good!), but they get your order out quick. The staff is friendly, inviting and accommodating! I had my dog and daughter and they could obviously tell that I had my hands full and brought my order outside to me without me even asking. I have definitely found my go to local coffee shop!“

“Wow! I’ve been ignoring this Thai spot for awhile now but got their takeout and I’m impressed. Fresh, authentic, quality. Their chicken satay is nice and tender, great spice levels on Pad Thai and Panang Curry, and fantastic thai iced tea and sticky mango rice. Their dips/sauces are all homemade and tasty! Lunch specials also a great deal, nice full size service. Service is on point as well (helped me carry the drinks to my car!) Thanks for a fantastic meal, IB Thai! “Very reasonable prices for delicious tacos. It was super busy but there wasn't any issue finding an open seat. Their salsa bar has a number of different types of salsa/aioli (avocado, chipotle, etc) and paired very well with the tacos. 100% recommend if you're in the area.“

“After Gustave had catered an event at our preschool for the second time, he invited my colleagues and I to come by his new location in downtown, and we did! He served us personally and recommended just the right menu items for our preferences (vegetarian, spicy, mild,...), ordered them and served them. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasty hotdogs, corn and fries. Let's not forget about the drinks from the Abbey and the sweet desert: churro with ice cream! “This is the perfect place if you’re looking for a cozy Italian dinner outing. The staff were attentive and polite. We were seated right away and our server gave some good recommendations. Their bread and butter is so good, we had to control ourselves before the entrees came! Salad was big and we got the smaller portion. We tried the Works and that was so fulfilling. They are not greedy with their cheese. Our favorite was the garlic cheese bread. We could eat that alone and be happy. The ravioli was good the kids liked it with some extra seasoning. Lastly the chocolate cake was very rich and sent us home full and happy.“
