katy’s is an amazing cafe here in IB. their menu if fairly simple but delicious and their coffee is tasty! highly recommend the chai!! so grateful for katy’s and the community it brings together!!

Really sorry that I didn't stay for breakfast this morning............I was hoping to make you my breakfast stop.............but this morning I noticed that you were at least one person short and almost a full house...........sorry I usually don't have the time to wait in a big line............if you have the time to wait the food and drinks are very good............but if you're looking for a quick grab and go spot............this one isn't it.........it can be a good hang out...read full review

If I could give this spot 4.5 stars I would. I’m visiting San Diego and hanging out with family in IB. This has become a go-to spot for starting my mornings. Standard coffee and breakfast fare that tastes really good.The best part is the people, both behind the counter and the other patrons. All friendly in a laid back way. Perfect for starting your day on a positive note… all while you’re still waking up.
