I had my dog and daughter and they could obviously tell that I had my hands full and brought my order outside to me without me even asking. I have definitely found my go to local coffee shop!“

“We had awesome service by Dern! He was polite, friendly and outgoing. (Killer now tie too!) He made our experience so fun! I even witnessed his care for his customers as I watched him ensure an elderly man did not fall walking to the bathroom. Also, he seemed to interact positively with his teammates too. Thanks Dern! The facility and restrooms were clean. It was like stepping back in time. There are a lot of nostalgic things to take in. My husband and I split a classic hamburger, crinkle fries and a strawberry malt. All of it was delicious. My husband said, “if we lived here, I’d be a regular.”“

“I'm so glad that The Funky Frenchie opened in Lemon Grove!! I've eaten here 2 times now and will keep coming back! The first time I had the breakfast bowl which was delicious and very filling. The 2nd time I got the Chicken and Woofles and they were willing to substitute eggs instead of the chicken since I'm a vegetarian with no hassle. DELICIOUS!!! The woofles are perfectly done with crisp edges and a soft fluffy inside. Absolutely will be back for this dish again!! And I must give a shout-out to the owner, Brandon! He's awesome!! 😀“

“Service like this is so hard to find anymore. Anticipated before we got there that the requested outside table would be intollerable in the unseasonable heatwave and moved us inside. “Juan Jasper Kitchen & Wine is an absolute little gem that delivers an incredible dining experience from start to finish. Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked, showcasing wonderful attention to detail, and the daily special was an absolute standout.

The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive, making you feel instantly welcome, and while the restaurant is small, it's very clean and cozy. Parking in the area is surprisingly easy, which takes away any pre-dinner stress.

The only drawback was our seating outside the rail, which put us right on the sidewalk where a particular passerby kept pacing back and forth, and we had to deal with quite a few flies during our meal. However, neither of those things is the fault of the restaurant and it certainly didn't overshadow how fantastic the food and service were. I highly recommend them!

We were able to sneak in a quick breakfast before our whale tour at the Little Italy location, and thank goodness we did! My only regret is not visiting every single day for their exceptional breakfast and high-quality juices! I ordered the All I Avo Wanted - Blue corn, waffle, smashed avocado, feta, shaved radish, over easy egg, chili flakes, hemp seeds, salsa macha. I mean, holy moly. The delivery was beautifully executed and built perfectly. The blue corn waffle was moist yet firm. My mother ordered the Shakshuka - another favorite dish of mine that WOWed. You can not go wrong with Parakeet. Thank you to the divine chefs and baristas - you made Parakeet the most beloved restaurant during our time in California!!!“

“I got the Box A sushi box! I got a Philadelphia roll, dragon roll, and seaweed salad. Paid a little extra to sub a soda for their Daily Matcha. Total was around $25. I am honestly so surprised at how good the sushi is! I've definitely paid much more for this quality, really amazing value for all the food you get. Fish is generous and has a very fresh taste to it! Matcha is very good, balances sweet and bitter perfectly, overall smooth and refreshing. Inside there is some seating and tables, this makes a great study location for National City. Staff was super sweet/polite and accommodating! I would say, as long as prices don't increase too much this is a fantastic place to get solid quality sushi.“

“Came for brunch with friends and absolutely loved it. I wish we would have this kind of place in Houston! We had the banana crepe, the berry crepe, eggs benedict, the merguez frittata, and the breakfast with eggs and avocado. Every single dish was delicious.

The crepes were light, fresh, and full of flavor, especially the berry one which was my favorite. The eggs benedict was perfectly cooked, and the merguez frittata was something a little different and really memorable, definitely a must. Even the classic eggs and avocado breakfast was done so well and tasted super fresh. The coffee was excellent too, which honestly makes such a difference for brunch.

The whole place has such a nice vibe! Cozy, stylish, and really welcoming. Service was great, everyone was kind and attentive, and you can feel that a lot of thought goes into every detail.

I stopped by one day to try the coffee and was so impressed that I came back the very next day. It’s rare for a place to leave that kind of impression so quickly, but Cafecito1806 did exactly that.

The owner is one of the kindest, warmest people I’ve met, and it shows in everything about the shop. Every cup of coffee is crafted with intention, care, love, and skill. The quality of the coffee and products is absolutely top-tier, and you can tell that nothing is done halfway.

And then there’s Milo. He is one of the cutest dogs I’ve ever met and the perfect addition to the experience. Seeing him around the shop instantly makes the space feel warm and welcoming. He brings a sense of comfort that makes Cafecito1806 feel less like a coffee shop and more like home. Milo truly ties the whole experience together.

What stands out most is the feeling you get when you’re there. Great coffee is one thing, but creating a space that feels genuine, welcoming, and memorable is something special. Cafecito1806 has mastered both.

The menu covers the usual flavored drink combos with just as many unique signature flavored drinks. Of course, like the Boba you have the option to get a traditional iced tea or hot cocoa But Why?? Lollicup also serves Slushies, Smoothies, Milkshakes, Snow, Dairy & Non-Dairy just ask the staff are always friendly and know their drink ??. Been here for 10+ years and Lollicup does not disappoint/hits the brain-freezing/warm-soothing spot Everytime.“
