“I love stopping by Arandas Café whenever I’m in Imperial Beach. It’s such a cute little spot and it always feels cozy. This time I got a matcha, their freshly squeezed orange juice, the Monte Cristo, and a parfait — everything was so fresh and honestly so yummy. The vibe is calm, the people are sweet, and it’s just one of those places you’re happy you found. Definitely one of my little go-to gems.“

“We had awesome service by Dern! He was polite, friendly and outgoing. (Killer now tie too!) He made our experience so fun! I even witnessed his care for his customers as I watched him ensure an elderly man did not fall walking to the bathroom. Also, he seemed to interact positively with his teammates too. Thanks Dern! The facility and restrooms were clean. It was like stepping back in time. There are a lot of nostalgic things to take in. My husband and I split a classic hamburger, crinkle fries and a strawberry malt. All of it was delicious. My husband said, “if we lived here, I’d be a regular.”“

“I’m a local customer for over 25 years. I love this place every thing is well prepare with love. The owners are always happy to see the customers! One of my favorite is the Mexican Mocha, the breakfast sandwich. To say the least everything on the menu is excellent. I’ve rather support this small family coffee shop, then Starbucks. “The food was amazing, with the exception of the mashed potatoes. The consistency was soft, smooth, and airy, however, there was absolutely no taste. No seasoning, no salt pepper no butter no nothing. Really bland would not order again. The service and staff were absolutely amazing. Only suggestion other than mashed potato fix is the ambience or the inside decor reminds me of late 1990s Seattle grunge. It just seems like the restaurant is stuck in the 90s decor wise. Food was absolutely phenomenal and staff as always were amazing.“

Agave Grill & Café is a fantastic find in Chula Vista! The lounge area has the cutest, most relaxing atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot to get some writing done or catch up with a friend over brunch. The service is consistently top-notch and attentive. I highly recommend trying the flavorful chilaquiles or the avocado toast paired with a dirty chai latte. It's an unassuming gem from the outside, but absolutely worth a visit!“

“I got the Box A sushi box! I got a Philadelphia roll, dragon roll, and seaweed salad. Paid a little extra to sub a soda for their Daily Matcha. Total was around $25. I am honestly so surprised at how good the sushi is! I've definitely paid much more for this quality, really amazing value for all the food you get. Fish is generous and has a very fresh taste to it! Matcha is very good, balances sweet and bitter perfectly, overall smooth and refreshing. Inside there is some seating and tables, this makes a great study location for National City. Staff was super sweet/polite and accommodating! I would say, as long as prices don't increase too much this is a fantastic place to get solid quality sushi.“

“Cafecito1806 is truly something special.
I stopped by one day to try the coffee and was so impressed that I came back the very next day. It’s rare for a place to leave that kind of impression so quickly, but Cafecito1806 did exactly that.
The owner is one of the kindest, warmest people I’ve met, and it shows in everything about the shop. Every cup of coffee is crafted with intention, care, love, and skill. The quality of the coffee and products is absolutely top-tier, and you can tell that nothing is done halfway.
And then there’s Milo. He is one of the cutest dogs I’ve ever met and the perfect addition to the experience. Seeing him around the shop instantly makes the space feel warm and welcoming. He brings a sense of comfort that makes Cafecito1806 feel less like a coffee shop and more like home. Milo truly ties the whole experience together.
What stands out most is the feeling you get when you’re there. Great coffee is one thing, but creating a space that feels genuine, welcoming, and memorable is something special. Cafecito1806 has mastered both.
If you’re looking for exceptional coffee, incredible quality, and an atmosphere that feels like home, this is a place you need to visit. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Had a great experience at Parakeet Cafe! Azalea helped me decide what to order for lunch, and her recommendations were spot on. Everything I tried was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded my expectations. The service was friendly and welcoming, and I'll definitely be back. My only small suggestion would be to turn the music down just a bit, it was a little louder than I'd prefer. Other than that, everything was fantastic!“

“i frequent Lollicup for the Boba which is an option for any drink on their menu- hot, warm, or cold. The menu covers the usual flavored drink combos with just as many unique signature flavored drinks. Of course, like the Boba you have the option to get a traditional iced tea or hot cocoa But Why?? Lollicup also serves Slushies, Smoothies, Milkshakes, Snow, Dairy & Non-Dairy just ask the staff are always friendly and know their drink ??. Been here for 10+ years and Lollicup does not disappoint/hits the brain-freezing/warm-soothing spot Everytime.“

“I am new to IB and am just so impressed with Katy's Cafe! They are busy (so you know they're good!), but they get your order out quick. The staff is friendly, inviting and accommodating! I had my dog and daughter and they could obviously tell that I had my hands full and brought my order outside to me without me even asking. I have definitely found my go to local coffee shop!“
