“What an iconic place to call our daily fuel. Trident coffee has a limited menu, health forward (think functional mushrooms, sugar free and gluten free products) and true to their brand through-and-through. Their cold brew flights are awesome.

The food itself gets 4 stars only because some of the recipes are somewhat targeted to Keto-type diets and can be hit or miss in flavor and occasional aftertaste.

Trident's and its founders are deeply rooted in military service and perspectives and the shop has a mental health undertone that's edgy and clever. Service is lovely and as regulars, it's always great to have a friendly face that knows their customers.“

“What an amazing gem of a place this is. The owner is amazing and eating here is like eating at a family‘s house. So warm and welcoming, and the food is great! Everything is made in the house or in the case of some of the pastries actually imported from Italy. The owner gave us a sample of the limoncello doughnut she had just received from Italy and it was fantastic. Whether you come by car or come by boat I highly recommend just coming here.“

“Great little kiosk/cafe in front of the library building near Spreckels Park; fresh baked goods (from commercial bakery) and fresh hot coffee as well as other drinks. Snack food options. Very convenient location and friendly, fast service from the enterprising one man business.“

“Located along busy Orange Ave in Coronado so it's in a lively neighborhood with nice boutiques and restaurants. We sat outside so we could people watch. Plus we had a dog with us as well.

Counter order and food is delivered to the table. There are lots of healthy options on their large menu.
Ordered the Golden goddess salad and added grilled salmon for an extra $11. Presentation of drinks and food were beautiful and the ingredients were fresh. My salad was a bit plain though. Expected more from what I paid for it. Might need to try something else next time.

Prices were definitely not cheap. Drinks were around $10-15. But I guess we were in Coronado.“

“Gorgeous ambiance with amazing food and service. I came in this morning and got a cinnamon cream cold brew from an employee named James. I wasn’t certain what to try so he recommended this. It was exactly what I needed. He also suggested an islander açaí bowl which was delicious. I highly suggest trying this place wether you’re passing through or live around the corner“

“FABULOUS! Yesterday was Phantom of The Opera nite. Opera as good as I've ever heard (and I have been to many operas). The Italian food is exceptional - talented chef from Italy. Atmosphere is very upbeat and welcoming. It is not our first time at Divo Diva, and will not be last.“

“This place makes pretty good coffees and matchas. They also offer very good pasteries and baked goods.

They offer inside and outside seating. The place gets very packed during peek hours, so either come early or later in the day.

They also offer a small market offering snacks and beverages.“

Was disappointed with the avocado toast, the avocado and greens were amazing but the bread was just ordinary toast - not artisan bread. I would come back for sure, just would not get avocado toast. You can’t go wrong with the burrito- the sauce that goes with it is great. The avocado toast and acai bowl were solid. I found the oats to be too sweet but that wasn’t the restaurants fault.“

“I have walked my dogs past this cute cafe more times than I can count and we finally made it over for breakfast this morning. So happy we did - wish we had done it sooner. It’s a small cafe with (as I counted) 7 tables and six counter seats inside and another 7 tables outside. We were fortunate there was no wait for a table inside. Atmosphere feels a bit crowded because you are right on top of the next table over but that’s more a space issue and trying to fit more tables in than anything else. If you don’t like others hearing your conversation this isn’t the place for you. That being said the service was fantastic and the food was scrumptious. We had the Biscuits and Gravy and it was probably the best I’ve had in San Diego. Tastefully peppery and plenty of gravy for the dish. It also comes with potatoes covered in gravy which I’ve never really experienced before but were good. I might ask them to skip the potatoes and give another biscuit or two next time as the potatoes seemed heavier than the fluffy biscuits. We also ordered the Breakfast Burrito covered in “Mexican Sauce” (read red Enchilada Sauce) and served with retried beans. My partner loved this dish and I had a taste and concurred it was tasty. It has green chiles inside which are mild. My partner is super picky about anything claiming to be Mexican so the fact it was a positive review on that is saying something. Couple other menu items we are interested in trying next time are the Waffle with Fresh Strawberries and the Stuffed Banana Peanut Butter French Toast. We saw both dishes coming out to other tables and they looked delicious.“

“The space is small and cozy but if you preferred open air they do have a few chairs outside. The menu is short and concise for a quick breakfast and/or brunch. The interior design is minimalistic I would say (when I visited a few years ago & I don’t know if they have any major change).“
