“We had awesome service by Dern! He was polite, friendly and outgoing. (Killer now tie too!) He made our experience so fun! I even witnessed his care for his customers as I watched him ensure an elderly man did not fall walking to the bathroom. Also, he seemed to interact positively with his teammates too. Thanks Dern! The facility and restrooms were clean. It was like stepping back in time. There are a lot of nostalgic things to take in. My husband and I split a classic hamburger, crinkle fries and a strawberry malt. All of it was delicious. My husband said, “if we lived here, I’d be a regular.”“

“We have gone to Divo Diva many times since I discovered this place in October the best place ever. The food is great. The coffee is amazing. The dinner OperA shows are outstanding. Never had a bad experience. I wish I knew about this place sooner I have told my friends about this place and they love it as well. We all look forward to the dinner shows. It is just a lovely Rosario and Victoria are genuine and super friendly. We love this place. The atmosphere is fresh and quaint. It is nicely decorated for whatever season or holiday. “This is in the SDSU area but there were plenty of locals. I happened to be in the area. The staff is amazing, so friendly and fast. The food is pretty good, but nothing extraordinary. I enjoyed it very much but I wouldn't go out of my way to drive out there again like I do for other places. The place is clean and pretty cute. It's a little pricey but overall I enjoyed it. “My favorite local coffee shop. The guy with the glasses in the back is always doing his laboratory experimentation wizardry to roast the perfect bean. They cycle different roasts every few days and there’s always a specialty roast available. I always look forward to going in there and seeing what roast is available. Today’s was a Costa Rican and it was delicious. The workers at this coffee shop are all kind. My espresso machine has been down this summer so I’ve been going in frequently, they all learned my name and my order. It’s always a treat to go in there.“

Agave Grill & Café is a fantastic find in Chula Vista! The lounge area has the cutest, most relaxing atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot to get some writing done or catch up with a friend over brunch. The service is consistently top-notch and attentive. I highly recommend trying the flavorful chilaquiles or the avocado toast paired with a dirty chai latte. It's an unassuming gem from the outside, but absolutely worth a visit!“

“We went for breakfast here and there was a long line up, we waited about 30 minutes for our table. The servers and hostess were great. The pistachio french toast was our favorite, but the other food was just okay in our opinion. The avocado toast is literally just Sriracha, avocado, eggs, and some sprouts, nothing special. We ordered the potatoes and bacon as well. I wouldn't order the potatoes again as they were too thick and not flavorful enough. For the bacon, there was interesting flavors like cinnamon toast crunch. I enjoyed my cold pressed watermelon juice. The restaurant itself is quite beautiful. Overall, I would go back if I were to stay at the Pendry hotel, but would not go out of my way to have breakfast here.“

“I'm so glad that The Funky Frenchie opened in Lemon Grove!! I've eaten here 2 times now and will keep coming back! The first time I had the breakfast bowl which was delicious and very filling. The 2nd time I got the Chicken and Woofles and they were willing to substitute eggs instead of the chicken since I'm a vegetarian with no hassle. DELICIOUS!!! The woofles are perfectly done with crisp edges and a soft fluffy inside. Absolutely will be back for this dish again!! And I must give a shout-out to the owner, Brandon! He's awesome!! 😀“
