Leilani's Cafe Reviews
Great food! The only thing negative for us are the seating. It’s always crowded every time and there’s no restroom😔.
I’m from Maryland, and this place is a straight up STAPLE every time I’m in San Diego. I cannot say enough good things about the food AND their absolutely incredible, friendly staff. Whole environment there is so relaxing & chill too
Love this place and the food. Always makes me miss Hawaii but I come here with my sons to get a taste of authentic island food. Spam fried rice and the Hilo Loco Moco are our favorites.

Leilani's Cafe offers a lovely atmosphere, with a quiet and peaceful ambiance that still feels lively. The menu boasts a wide variety of options, including special items and staples, such as breakfast bagel sandwiches with crispy eggs and fluffy bagels, noodle dishes like Yaki soba and Saimen, and refreshing drinks like Jane's green juice smoothie and mango smoothie. The restaurant serves great Hawaiian food, with a focus on island-style breakfast and exceptional coffee. The small, outdoor seating area creates a cozy, low-key setting, perfect for enjoying tasty Hawaiian-influenced fare and strong coffee, especially in the morning. Visitors often remark on the friendly service and quick turnaround, though some note that tipping isn't expected, especially when ordering at a window. The outdoor setup means bringing a jacket, but the delicious food, including highly praised bagels, makes it worth a visit. The Pork Lau Lau plate and hot matcha are also popular choices that add to the warm, welcoming experience.
