I'm so glad that The Funky Frenchie opened in Lemon Grove!! I've eaten here 2 times now and will keep coming back! The first time I had the breakfast bowl which was delicious and very filling. The 2nd time I got the Chicken and Woofles and they were willing to substitute eggs instead of the chicken since I'm a vegetarian with no hassle. DELICIOUS!!! The woofles are perfectly done with crisp edges and a soft fluffy inside. Absolutely will be back for this dish again!!

amazing! I had their burger which was great! and their coconut shrimp on salad. which both were amazing! the salad dressing was so good. everything must be home made.
This family-run gem completely lives up to the reviews. We’re only visiting, but it makes us wish they were back in our city! The food is fantastic, and you can tell Maria’s uncle is using incredibly fresh ingredients in the kitchen. What really stood out was Maria herself. When I commented on the Frenchie, she took the time to share the story of their Frenchie and how the business grew. She is remarkably attentive, too.
