“This place is delicious! Been a few times and the staff is always friendly, food comes out timely, and all the food is delicious. Most of it feels very healthy as well. The lattes are very good, in addition to the breakfast burritos, garden avocado toast, smoothie bowls, and more! Plenty of vegetarian/vegan options but also options to add eggs!“
“Love the atmosphere and the large space this new cafe has to offer. Tons of seating, inside and out, for enjoying a coffee, drink, or snack. Very photographic, very instagramable.Food, sweets, and coffee are delicious here. Their almond milk latte is always on point. Their sweets are so yummy (the blueberry lemon muffin is my favorite). Other very good menu items:• Vegetarian wrap• Mission Beach breakfast bowl• Egg sandwich• Shakshuka• Quiche• White chocolate mochaZero complaints.Alternative milk for $1 extra:° Almond° Coconut° OatThe staff is on top of taking our plates and cups when we are finished. They quickly clean the table and area when a group leaves since there seems to be a quick turnover of guests coming and going.Walking or biking is always a good option in MB. Parking can be tricky, but there is a bike rack just outfront.“
“Wow! I really love the chicken. I ordered the Combo #1 which included 2 pieces of chicken and a waffle! The only thing I want to complain about is the waffle - it was thick and fluffy which I appreciated... but it was soggy. I will say, I didn't get to go here in person (my boyfriend picked up for me) so maybe that contributes to the soggy waffle? Would like to try again!“
“Can't speak to other fare, but the French fries are remarkably delicious! "Best ever!" ratings by my wife (an accomplished cook) and her girlfriend, also an accomplished cook. Give them a try and take some home! An air fryer restores their crispy goodness!“
“This place is delicious! There was no wait time, which was surprising because it was Sunday noon. The place was very nice, the atmosphere and the vibes were great! The plates are individually designed, but you can definitely share them with your +1. I ordered the short ribs omelet, turkey Benedict, and Dutch pancake. And to drink a pitcher of Sandia Margarita. Everything was exquisite! 10 out of 10!!Oh! And the waiters... LOVED them!!!“
“George's is a casual, local, hole in the wall restaurant. If you're looking for a no-nonsense, home cooked style breakfast, look no further; you'll find it at George's.The bacon is crisp, the homestyle potatoes are cooked in the bacon fat, and the coffee is fresh. What more do you need? Maybe some pancakes? They got that, too!George's hit the spot for today's craving of an old school breakfast! We'll be back, soon!“
“Love coming here on an evening after work. A great place to have a killer cocktail or glass of wine. The place is so classy and when it is packed on a weekend brunch it is lively and fun! I’m always helped by Roberto the manager who is here to make sure the evening is smooth and comfortable. I came for dinner once with my partner during restaurant week and the food was gorgeous. I recommend!“
“Within walking distance from the Sheraton. Was a little tricky to find as the signage is just a little sign outside the marina store. This food was fantastic. We ordered the Buenos Dias, Chicken Club, and the breakfast special. Everything was fantastic. They were out of their waffle fries but the crinkle fries were great. The food was fresh and delicious. Oooh, try the strawberry agave lemonade. The only complaint was the butter served was rock hard which was difficult to spread onto the pancake. Service was fantastic. Not sure of his name but he answered all of our questions, and gave good recommendations. Seating is a few tables on the patio with a great view of the marina. Support this small family eatery. You won't be disappointed.“
“Walked in and were greeted with a smile, even though it was 9:45pm and they closed at 10. We ordered the crepe with Nutella & banana with salted caramel ice cream - was delicious. Pricey- cost over $20- but was fun first stop in San Diego from the airport. Service was friendly, street parking was easy that time of night.“
“We had a craving for chicken and waffles and this place didn't disappoint!! Huge serving of fried chicken ( not chicken strips) and perfectly done waffle. We also had an omelette that was tasty...not over cooked and an appropriate amount of cheese and veggies. Service was fast and workers were nice. Great prices for what we had ( enough to take home a whole other meal!) place was clean and nice but because it's in a strip mall, no view of anything except the parking lot, which was ok for us for this meal. We will be making this a regular dining spot!!!“
“Love that you can preorder and check out that week's menu items in advance. We shared the brisket Crunchwrap supreme, fried chicken biscuit and I ordered a matcha tea latte with passion fruit popping boba. Everything was DELICIOUS and unique. The Crunchwrap was especially tasty (I love brisket) and two thumbs up for the biscuit that the fried chicken was served on. They usually have 8 or so things on the menu including lattes. I would love coming back here! They share a space with Atypical Waffle and you just have to check in when you get there and your food will get fired up. Follow their Instagram as well to see what they're cooking up. I'm going to have dreams about this food!“
“Really loved all the drinks here. Service was also so quick and great, very friendly and helped us with menu. I would say the drinks are super great, especially for price, and food is good but not super high on my list. I would say it’s worth it to go brunch here for drinks though!!“
“Great spot, I have been coming here for years and the food and service is always excellent. I have eaten here at breakfast, lunch, and dinner times, and the whole experience is always pretty spot on. The inside of the restaurant is nothing fancy, But if you are going out to eat, it is because you want good food and good service, and Elijah’s delivers both.Bonus: They are open on most major holidays from my understanding. I have eaten here on holidays such as fourth of July, thanksgiving, and christmas day and they have been open.Total .“
“I love trying out new brunch places and this one did not disappoint! Located in North Park— street parking only so just account time for that. Our party of 5 didn’t have a reservation and we expected to wait a bit. Luckily though we only waited about 10-15 minutes at 11am on a Saturday! The place itself is very cute, decorated with bright wood panelling and a large purple art piece by the check in booth. There was a decent amount of 2-4 person tables inside and on the patio. It looked like tables can be pushed together for parties of 6, maybe 8.Our server was attentive, helpful, and very friendly! It took us a bit to decide what to order since all of them sounded appetizing. Food came out fairly quickly despite the busy Saturday rush.Food:-Ube Cold Foam Matcha ($7.50): aesthetically pleasing and tasted so good! It wasn’t too sweet either and that’s without making any modifications to it.-The GOAT Sandwich ($16.50): I subbed with turkey instead of ham and it was delicious! Served with large pieces of potatoes-Waffle Churro Sticks ($16): shared with the table. Four “strips” of waffles served with a small bowl of fruit, jalapeño-blackberry sauce, and maple cream cheese for toppings. Go get this! The rest of our party ordered the Madi Wrap ($17), Oklahoma Onion Smash Burger ($18), and Chilaquiles Verdes ($17). They also ordered the Banana Bread Latte ($6.50) and Brown Butter Latte ($6.50) Everyone was satisfied and enjoyed their food.I’d love to come back and try out other food and the Tiramisu Espresso Martini!“
