Per the reviews on TripAdvisor, I had to check out The Mission in East Village. Located a short walk from downtown, I went for a glorious brunch and it sure did not disappoint! The turkey sandwich on rosemary bread was delicious. The herbs gave an excellent aftertaste to the savoury turkey and bacon. A tad more mayonnaise and it would have been perfect. This food was so creative and delicious. It was definitely worth the cost of the umber ride. I had the cinnamon bread French toast and it was outstanding. The portions were huge and the food was cooked perfectly. The service was great too.

Went to breakfast with a friend who lives right nearby, this morning lace definitely seems like a staple in the neighborhood. We were able to sit down right away at 9:30am on a Sunday. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was truly delicious, I got the banana caramel French toast which was so yummy, it’s dense and totally hot the spot.
