“Yesterday my friends and I went to your restaurant. I tried brioche French toast (banana foster 🍌 with strawberries 🍓 and whipped cream). WOW 😲! It was very delicious 😋, well-flavored, light, spongy, melt in your mouth, irresistible 😁, and heavenly 😇. I loved it 🥰. And sugar free vanilla latte, very good 😊 and comforting ☺️. Your restaurant is amazing 🤩 and peaceful. You have a great service 😃. Your employer is kind and courteous. I hope you in other occasion.“

“Good food, I got the French toast and a danish. The prices here were fair compared to the surrounding breakfast places and the service was great. I would come back solely based on the service, the gentlemen working were very nice and all greeted everyone in the building with a smile. The cafe is located in the back of the big building, super easy to find once we looked at the prior reviews.“

“Wonderful breakfast and drinks. I tried the birria chilaquiles and the pancakes 🥞 as well as the whiskey sunny Side Up cocktail (the presentation is top tier). I was served by the server in training and she did a great job too. Wouldn't have guessed she was training if she didn't tell me lol. Overall recommend, chill vibes, cool aesthetic and great flavors.“

“it was okay I had the country skillet it had no flavor and the potatoes were not brown at all. then yesterday I had the country fried steak breakfast with a English muffin it was not even toasted and once again no flavor just bland. the service was good that is it and they are in a hurry to push you out“

“I just recommend this place to everyone, delicious, unpretentious and hearty food. It has been my favorite place in OB for breakfast for over several decades. I even brought homesick recruits from Naval Training Center San Diego for breakfast and a bit of home style. Never have been disappointed.“

“This cafe and Juice bar STOLE our hearts! A MUST when in San Diego and La Jolla. I mean, WOOOOWWW! We were able to sneak in a quick breakfast before our whale tour at the Little Italy location, and thank goodness we did! My only regret is not visiting every single day for their exceptional breakfast and high-quality juices! I ordered the All I Avo Wanted - Blue corn, waffle, smashed avocado, feta, shaved radish, over easy egg, chili flakes, hemp seeds, salsa macha. I mean, holy moly. The delivery was beautifully executed and built perfectly. The blue corn waffle was moist yet firm. My mother ordered the Shakshuka - another favorite dish of mine that WOWed. You can not go wrong with Parakeet. Thank you to the divine chefs and baristas - you made Parakeet the most beloved restaurant during our time in California!!!“

“Loved this place! A no frills breakfast place that serves delicious breakfast is just what this area needed. Crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs, great pancakes, and automatically came with cheesey potato’s. Generous portions but left not feeling too heavy. Great and quick service. I loved it, this will be my new go to breakfast spot.“

“Best food truck in San Diego..Emilios beltre sauce gives a great flavor to the food and the best sauce I have tried.. if you got a military id make sure to stop by naval base point loma to try some great food. Emilio and Yadhira would be there to give you an excellent customer service..“

“Food was very good, never felt rushed even though they were busy. Buffet had plenty of options, great for the kids, and anyone on a time crunch. Includes eggs made to order along with coffee and juice. The Grains and Greens bowl I had was very tasty, as was the burrito our table ordered. Now we can conquer the day in beautiful La Jolla.“
