“I was looking for a breakfast spot with soufflé pancakes and Tappi’s Cafe popped up, so we made the 20-minute drive and it was totally worth it! The menu was super unique, and the Dubai Chocolate waffles were definitely the standout for me. It’s more of a no-frills spot but the food was absolutely delicious and the service was great too. Shoutout to Mia for taking such good care of us. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their savory dishes!“

“My family and I ate here on our way home from vacation. My daughter wanted IHOP. We couldn't find one anywhere. I was driving for over an hour. I'm glad we found this one. This was the best IHOP experience I've ever had. I can not remember our server name. I think it was Juan. He was awesome. He was very accommodating and welcoming to my family. The food and service was excellent. Next time I'm in that area I will definitely be going back. Check it out.“

“Nice place tucked in the Vons shopping center. Was excited to try Fay's diner after hearing about it. Both our dinners were luke warm. There was only one other table, so not because it was busy. I had the special, fried chicken, and it was very well done. Well done and not hot. We also order a chicken pot pie. It was not hot at all. The pie was flavorful. Service was slow and not attentive. Perhaps something was going on internally causing these problems.“

“We tried the Burrito, and I had the Fish Soft Taco, which I loved. However, the beef bowl with avocado, beans, rice, peppers, and tomatoes in this shop, it felt like too much going on flavor-wise. On the bright side, we enjoyed the delicious pineapple juice. The server is nice and I asked to get another Juice and he said pay after when we are done, he told me next time. Thank you for the treat! Overall, it was a good experience at Roberto’s Taco Shop in Santee.“

“First time here at this location and might I say David was amazing. Great customer service and did everything with a smile and with great joy. Made my girlfriend and I feel welcomed. “Very good experience here at Santee Ihope , the cashier today Sunday June 21,2026 was very kind and patient, quite place and clean ( could be a little better on the dust but over all it was clean also the bathrooms ! Food was ready fast and very good presentation ! Enough parking space too, and other stores near by! Desert was great !“

“Finding this little cafe was the highlight of my day- I walked in after traveling all over looking for apartments as I’m moving. Wary and exhausted, I stumble in and am immediately greeted by everyone as if I’m a regular and just walked into a place I consider home. The chef told me he makes great biscuits and gravy, and he wasn’t lying whatsoever- they’re the best I’ve personally ever tried. Everyone here is so friendly, welcoming, the service is great and the atmosphere is cozy and diner-esque which is just what you need after a long day.“
