I recently tried The Trails Eatery for breakfast in San Diego, CA, and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, especially the pancakes and omelets. The portions were generous and the cozy atmosphere made it a perfect spot to start the day.
We discovered older episodes of Restaurant Impossible were streaming and were shocked to learn that there was an eatery on that show right in our backyard.We went to give it a try and we were blown away. Fast and courteous service combined with excellent good shows why they're still going strong. The host and waitress were excellent. French toast was the best I have ever seen. Yummy too. Their egg breakfast was tasty. The only downer was their coffee. Just too weak. You need good coffee with breakfast.
