“I stumbled upon this place after leaving an appointment. It's located in a large office building and truly is a hidden gem. There are so many options for both breakfast and lunch. I was so indecisive, the employees were extremely patient and helpful with giving me suggestions. The food was delicious and I will surely return.“

“What a wonderful place to have brunch in Hillcrest across from the farmer’s market in Hillcrest. In the back of AWOL, so cute! The food was great and such friendly staff. The house potatoes and the homemade salsas were amazing. We will definitely be back and tell all our friends.“

“Had to kill 4 hours in between meetings and found Snooze through a quick search. It was the highest rated breakfast spot near me and it did not disappoint. I had the chile verde benedict and asked for hot sauce on that side and even that was incredible, spicy yet flavorful.
Paired that with a ice matcha latte and a mimosa ($5 bucks on a monday!) and it was a complete breakfast for me. 10/10 would come again.

“My 10yo daughter and I had breakfast here and we were very happy. We got eggs, bacon, pancakes and my daughter said it was SUPER YUMMY ?. I thought they were one of the best pancakes I’ve ever had and I didn’t even put syrup on them. I also got an iced mocha and loved it! Definitely recommended for kids and adults. The vibe is chill like a typical diner. We’d definitely come back.“

“Broken Yolk Cafe has really brought a lot of life to Santee! It is such a fun and entertaining environment and the food is absolutely DELICIOUS!! “We tried the Burrito, and I had the Fish Soft Taco, which I loved. However, the beef bowl with avocado, beans, rice, peppers, and tomatoes in this shop, it felt like too much going on flavor-wise. On the bright side, we enjoyed the delicious pineapple juice. The server is nice and I asked to get another Juice and he said pay after when we are done, he told me next time. Thank you for the treat! Overall, it was a good experience at Roberto’s Taco Shop in Santee.“

“My wife and me love going to this diner for brunch on weekends. The staff is very friendly and courteous. There is usually no wait when we go. some of my favorite dishes to order are the cajun scramble, chicken fried chicken and the french toast combo. My wife likes their fish tacos which am not a big fan of. It's a nice breakfast place to go to so close in the neighbourhood and the ambience is pretty good too.“

“We couldn’t wait to return to 7 Cafe after being away for more than 2 years. Our nephew used to live around the corner and we could come the 7 Cafe every morning when we visited him. He had since moved away but we had a chance to return to the old neighborhood on our resent visit to San Diego. The first place we decided to eat was the 7 Cafe. The owner, wait staff and food are all outstanding.We’re from NYC and we highly recommend that you make the 7 a stop one of your dining experiences while in San Diego.“

“Suzette was a perfect waitress! Very attentive, friendly and was QUICK to meet your needs. Service was amazing, the bald Asian guy added to the atmosphere with good happy energy, and came to every table to see if customers were happy. Those employees deserve a raise. Most IHOPs I go to have average/mid waiters where they’ll take long to attend you, not meet your needs or take forever to fill you up, not here, my first experience here was awesome definitely coming back.“

“Service and food was excellent! The staff was gracious and efficient. Aside from my disappointment that IHOP no longer offers lingonberry crepes, all was well. Their coffee and 1/2&1/2 was top notch, a big improvement from my last breakfast visit.“
