Went here while in town visiting family who enjoy this chain of breakfast diners. I understand this location used to be a bar of sorts but now is a very open but well organized dining space. We were advised to get a meal that included a muffin side because they’re made fresh on site… and definitely glad we did! We’ve been going to this specific location for 3 years now and we prefer this location because of the atmosphere. It’s more calm and all of the employees are very friendly. The food is always so good! I did give them a 4/5 stars because sometimes the potatoes will taste too oily or they will be burnt and the sauce for the chilaquiles sometimes tastes bland but most of the time it’s great!

This place is a San Diego grown classic. Food is solid but the hospitality is noticeably extraordinary. Staff is extremely nice and very attentive. Excellent experience from start to finish. They set a gold star bar for hospitality and whoever is doing the training and hiring does an excellent job because there are so many staff and everyone who interacted with me was on point which is super rare.
