“We tried the Burrito, and I had the Fish Soft Taco, which I loved. However, the beef bowl with avocado, beans, rice, peppers, and tomatoes in this shop, it felt like too much going on flavor-wise. On the bright side, we enjoyed the delicious pineapple juice. The server is nice and I asked to get another Juice and he said pay after when we are done, he told me next time. Thank you for the treat! Overall, it was a good experience at Roberto’s Taco Shop in Santee.“

“I had lunch with two of my Medicare clients to discuss 2025 plans. I tried the Fish and chips for the first time. They were delicious! The fish had the perfect amount of batter, and the fries were crispy and tasty.
Parking: I had no issues finding a place to park.“

“The French toast and chai latte were delicious! 5/5 recommend this place. My husband got the chilaquiles and they were also delicious. You can tell they take pride in the details. Staff was super friendly and attentive. They even brought my 9mo old complimentary watermelon.“

“Superior service from an outstanding staff! The serving portions are huge and the food is soooooo good! I’ve become a weekly patron sampling most of the breakfast menu. The best pancakes of any breakfast restaurant! You won’t be able to eat the whole thing! Look on their website for the menu and prices. It’s worth it!!“

“I've been wanting to try this cute little country cafe for a while now. So glad I finally had the chance! It is small and cozy, seats about 30 people. The staff were inviting and super friendly! I ordered the basic french toast and eggs and my eggs were cooked to perfection and I'm super picky about how they are cooked :) The homemade salsa was delicious and had the perfect kick to it. I will definitley be stopping by again to try the biscuits and gravy everyone has been raving about!“

“My wife and me love going to this diner for brunch on weekends. The staff is very friendly and courteous. There is usually no wait when we go. some of my favorite dishes to order are the cajun scramble, chicken fried chicken and the french toast combo. My wife likes their fish tacos which am not a big fan of. It's a nice breakfast place to go to so close in the neighbourhood and the ambience is pretty good too.“

“Our first time in Breakfast Republic. We enjoyed it. Most especially because of the friendly, prompt and professional service of our waiter Alberto aka Beto. I think that every restaurant should have people like that to serving them as they would have an exceptional dining experience!!!
Yogurt bowl was fresh. Omelette is as ok. Could have had more cheese and not so dry. Potatoes were top notch. Coffee. A-1!“

“Suzette was a perfect waitress! Very attentive, friendly and was QUICK to meet your needs. Service was amazing, the bald Asian guy added to the atmosphere with good happy energy, and came to every table to see if customers were happy. Those employees deserve a raise. Most IHOPs I go to have average/mid waiters where they’ll take long to attend you, not meet your needs or take forever to fill you up, not here, my first experience here was awesome definitely coming back.“

“Service and food was excellent! The staff was gracious and efficient. Aside from my disappointment that IHOP no longer offers lingonberry crepes, all was well. Their coffee and 1/2&1/2 was top notch, a big improvement from my last breakfast visit.“

“Broken Yolk Cafe has really brought a lot of life to Santee! It is such a fun and entertaining environment and the food is absolutely DELICIOUS!! The hosts/servers are welcoming and really make you feel like you’re taken care of at all times. You feel like family here and I couldn’t say enough good things about this place. 5 stars!!!“
