“We tried the Burrito, and I had the Fish Soft Taco, which I loved. However, the beef bowl with avocado, beans, rice, peppers, and tomatoes in this shop, it felt like too much going on flavor-wise. On the bright side, we enjoyed the delicious pineapple juice. The server is nice and I asked to get another Juice and he said pay after when we are done, he told me next time. Thank you for the treat! Overall, it was a good experience at Roberto’s Taco Shop in Santee.“

Attentive, friendly, and totally on top of it. When there was a small hiccup with my coffee order, he handled it like a pro—no fuss, no delay, just a perfectly remade cup in record time. Speaking of coffee: the Breakfast Republic Specialty Latte? Absolutely phenomenal. One of those drinks you think about long after you’ve left. The menu was super unique, and the Dubai Chocolate waffles were definitely the standout for me. It’s more of a no-frills spot but the food was absolutely delicious and the service was great too. “Finding this little cafe was the highlight of my day- I walked in after traveling all over looking for apartments as I’m moving. Wary and exhausted, I stumble in and am immediately greeted by everyone as if I’m a regular and just walked into a place I consider home. The chef told me he makes great biscuits and gravy, and he wasn’t lying whatsoever- they’re the best I’ve personally ever tried. Everyone here is so friendly, welcoming, the service is great and the atmosphere is cozy and diner-esque which is just what you need after a long day.“

“Nice place tucked in the Vons shopping center. Was excited to try Fay's diner after hearing about it. Both our dinners were luke warm. There was only one other table, so not because it was busy. I had the special, fried chicken, and it was very well done. Well done and not hot. We also order a chicken pot pie. It was not hot at all. The pie was flavorful. Service was slow and not attentive. Perhaps something was going on internally causing these problems.“

“My family and I ate here on our way home from vacation. My daughter wanted IHOP. We couldn't find one anywhere. I was driving for over an hour. I'm glad we found this one. This was the best IHOP experience I've ever had. I can not remember our server name. I think it was Juan. He was awesome. He was very accommodating and welcoming to my family. The food and service was excellent. Next time I'm in that area I will definitely be going back. Check it out.“
