It's been 15+ years since my last visit and the mission is as good as I recall.The chilaquiles were very spicy and the Portuguese linguisa was very tasty. Just wish I lived closer!
I ordered the mission rosemary, and my wife and daughter shared the strawberry/banana pancakes, with side orders of rosemary potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, chicken sausage and a to-go banana bread. We absolutely over-ordered but it’s our last morning in San Diego and we needed to try everything. We ate until we couldn’t any longer and there was a decent amount of food left. Love this place! I had the zen breakfast and found it delicious and filling. The staff were excellent and the atmosphere was busy but well managed. Will definitely return.Vegetarian options: Zen breakfast came with egg whites and salsa, deliciously cooked tofu, grilled vegetables, and brown rice. Very tasty and would order again!
