I hate bad food
The “mission” for this restaurant was to make incredibly good dog food. The food was absolutely terrible, it tasted like barf. The coffee was watered down so much it could pass I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between it and a cup of tap. Don’t eat here. Other than the horrific food experience I had here, the service was good.

Love this place! I had the zen breakfast and found it delicious and filling. The staff were excellent and the atmosphere was busy but well managed. Will definitely return.Vegetarian options: Zen breakfast came with egg whites and salsa, deliciously cooked tofu, grilled vegetables, and brown rice. Very tasty and would order again!

The food was so good! Their rosemary potatoes are wonderful! We were here on vacation and tried The Mission and it was excellent!
It's been 15+ years since my last visit and the mission is as good as I recall.The chilaquiles were very spicy and the Portuguese linguisa was very tasty. Just wish I lived closer!
I ordered the mission rosemary, and my wife and daughter shared the strawberry/banana pancakes, with side orders of rosemary potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, chicken sausage and a to-go banana bread. We absolutely over-ordered but it’s our last morning in San Diego and we needed to try everything. We ate until we couldn’t any longer and there was a decent amount of food left. Everything was outstanding. We will definitely be back here next time we’re in town. Thank you for an amazing end to our visit!

12 of us women bounced in starving and our experience couldn't have been better. Our waitress Tess was a doll and made us feel welcomed and cared for. The food is amazing. Every plate felt special. Prices were reasonable and our food came out quickly. We are visiting but if we come back, we will visit.Vegetarian options: I'm vegan and they had a separate menu for me. So greatful ?
Food was okay, but overpriced. Coffee was $5 per person… its not even that expensive in new york ?quick service and waiters were really nice!

Good was good, but not great. It looked better than it tasted. Atmosphere was lacking - tables and chairs were worn, cheap, and uncomfortable. Ketchup bottle was ringed with old crusted dark brown ketchup. Service was quick and attentive but not particularly friendly. The host looked like he might fall asleep standing up. Not a bad meal but I wouldn’t return.
