“After Gustave had catered an event at our preschool for the second time, he invited my colleagues and I to come by his new location in downtown, and we did! He served us personally and recommended just the right menu items for our preferences (vegetarian, spicy, mild,...), ordered them and served them. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasty hotdogs, corn and fries. Let's not forget about the drinks from the Abbey and the sweet desert: churro with ice cream! The atmosphere was casual, festive with the strings of lights and the very recently installed inflatable penguin on the roof, that conveyed Holiday cheer! Thank you Gus for a delightful evening!“

“This place is seriously great food with great prices. There is really no need to ever get fast food with this place serving better food at the same price you would pay at fast food burger places. The staff is always wonderful and make it a great place to eat. My family and I have never been disappointed with the burgers, wings or tenders. If you are in the area, don't hesitate to stop here. “My Son took me there to enjoy a nice, juicy hamburger, fries and appetizers and he told me it was a pretty good burger place; well he was WRONG!!! The hamburgers were delicious so, were the fries and appetizers and the drinks; but what TRULY made it extra special was the very welcoming, friendly atmosphere!!! Eileen our serve was very polite, professional, kind, with great customer service skills and very attentive to every single one of her customers. We truly enjoyed eating at Scotty B’s and I highly recommend this place for everyone including families. There are some hamburgers extra spicy, but I can assure you that your taste buds will definitely enjoy their delicious and well prepared food. Eileen is definitely a keeper, but aim sure the rest of the staff will also go above and beyond to make your visit as pleasant as possible.

“Food and service is great. Burgers seem to be somewhat pricey but at the same time most places are pricey anyway. Probably best bang for your buck though. Dollars well spent based on the taste. They do have a regular combo for $14 so that's a great deal. With respect to customer service, once they missed a couple of ingredients on my burger and I went to ask if they could give them to me on the side. They were very apologetic and made it up to me. I thought that was a great touch of customer service from their part. Overall, great place and highly recommended.“

“Eat here often since I drive a lot, ordered tacos and poppers , Jalapeño poppers came back a bit lacking, for the first time in a long time for the record. Called up, a Mister Carlos promptly apologized and fixed my order for me, little to no delay. Good customer service, good food, but watch them poppers.“

“Don't understand what's with the low ratings. This McDonalds is proof that fast food restaruants don't have to be trashy. The floor and tables are always spotless clean, staff is beyond friendly, and food is served accurately and in just 2 minutes. The girl with tattoos on her arms, the lady taking out the trash, and the other young lady delivering orders to the tables are always kind and have a smile on their face. That just reflects how responsable and committed the manager is. Love the consistency on how well and clean the place is kept every time I visit.“

“Anytime I’m in San Diego, Hodad’s is a must! The food is always fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is one of a kind while completely channeling that California vibe. Everyone I bring here absolutely loves it!

The burgers are juicy and exactly what you want a burger to be. The onion rings are some of the best I’ve ever had, and the ranch is fantastic. Portions are perfect, and I don’t feel like I’m overpaying for my meal, so the value is definitely there.

“Came here for lunch around noon on a Tuesday (8/11/26) on a coworker's recommendation, and it did not disappoint. It’s an unpretentious little spot right by the bay with fantastic views.

Service was friendly and fast. I ordered the All-American Burger, which comes with a side of pickles. The portion was huge, the patty was juicy, and the bun was perfectly toasted. While nearly $15 for a burger is a bit steep, the taste and the setting make it worth it. Highly recommend!“

“In-N-Out is definitely named appropriately. They get you your food and keep you moving. It is not overwhelming and you don't feel rushed it is just extremely extreme line and convenient. Being from out of town I really enjoy the taste of the burgers and food. The place is always busy even extremely late at night which is what we seemed to do each time after midnight. Drive through and the people hanging outside eating definitely keep you entertained while you wait. For quick great food when you want to relax or to take on the go. Plenty of parking since you are in a large shopping complex area.“

This was the first time we visited and it was a fantastic dining experience. this is a Family business serving fine quality food in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. “My husband was in a business dinner and they walked some of gaslamp afterwards. After they parted ways, he needed to use the bathroom so he ran in the closest restaurant. They said he couldn't use it unless he was a customer. I totally get that but they were packed out so it made no sense.... Either way, he bought a chicken quesadilla to go. He brought it back to the room for me and our sons to have. It tasted good...until my youngest son spit out a piece of plastic he found inside the quesadilla. My Husband called about it the next day bc they were then closed. Their response was "oops sorry" like wth?! They then said "bring it back along with the plastic." No mention of a refund or investigation of how it happened. And by that point, room service had come and took the box of the rest of the food plus no one wanted to fight downtown traffic and pay to park to have them possibly offer us another quesadilla . 🙄 Again the food we did eat, minus the plastic, was good but the service wasn't.“

The atmosphere is beautiful and quiet. The food is delicious! Chicken Tika Masala, Cheesy Garlic Naan and the Bullet Naan are soooo good! The Coconut curry is one of our favorites as well! The staff is friendly and attentive. We always have a wonderful time here!“

“I ordered the onion burger as a double and it was very very Hardy next time I'll go for just a single Patty but the taste out of this world phenomenal I will be going back to try other stuff on their menu it was juicy the cheese was just the right amount better than In-N-Out better than your fast food Burger it's outdoor pop up type of place but recently it looks like they bought a spot right next to where they're serving so we'll be having indoor seating as well I was bummed out because there was no aguas frescas but will be going back the owner said his wife makes them fresh and switches the flavor daily.
