“This place is seriously great food with great prices. There is really no need to ever get fast food with this place serving better food at the same price you would pay at fast food burger places. The staff is always wonderful and make it a great place to eat. My family and I have never been disappointed with the burgers, wings or tenders. If you are in the area, don't hesitate to stop here. You will not be disappointed.“

“I could not have had a better experience add Scotty B's. It's rare that I have such a delicious burger. Wow. I will never pass up the opportunity to stop in when I'm in town. I had the pleasure of watching the artist paint some of the artwork and the kitchen staff and the bartender were the most hospitable they could possibly be. I had such a fun time!“

“After Gustave had catered an event at our preschool for the second time, he invited my colleagues and I to come by his new location in downtown, and we did! He served us personally and recommended just the right menu items for our preferences (vegetarian, spicy, mild,...), ordered them and served them. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasty hotdogs, corn and fries. Let's not forget about the drinks from the Abbey and the sweet desert: churro with ice cream! The atmosphere was casual, festive with the strings of lights and the very recently installed inflatable penguin on the roof, that conveyed Holiday cheer! Thank you Gus for a delightful evening!“

“Food and service is great. Burgers seem to be somewhat pricey but at the same time most places are pricey anyway. Probably best bang for your buck though. Dollars well spent based on the taste. They do have a regular combo for $14 so that's a great deal. With respect to customer service, once they missed a couple of ingredients on my burger and I went to ask if they could give them to me on the side. They were very apologetic and made it up to me. I thought that was a great touch of customer service from their part. Overall, great place and highly recommended.“

“Don't understand what's with the low ratings. This McDonalds is proof that fast food restaruants don't have to be trashy. The floor and tables are always spotless clean, staff is beyond friendly, and food is served accurately and in just 2 minutes. The girl with tattoos on her arms, the lady taking out the trash, and the other young lady delivering orders to the tables are always kind and have a smile on their face. That just reflects how responsable and committed the manager is. Love the consistency on how well and clean the place is kept every time I visit.“

“Eat here often since I drive a lot, ordered tacos and poppers , Jalapeño poppers came back a bit lacking, for the first time in a long time for the record. Called up, a Mister Carlos promptly apologized and fixed my order for me, little to no delay. Good customer service, good food, but watch them poppers.“

“We went to lunch yesterday at the local In N Out burger. Of course it was delicious. That's the great thing about INO, no matter where in the country the food ALWAYS high quality and very consistent. Cant say that about many other fast food places. 😋“

“Hodads in Downtown gots the juiciest, biggest burgers ever we ordered the single bacon cheeseburger and that bad boy was so big I asked my husband if I ordered correctly. We got half onion rings and half French fries. I have never had any onion rings as great as Hodads nice chunky onions and not a lot of breading. I ordered a Chardonnay that came in a mason jar that took me back . Hubby ordered the strawberry shake that he is still talking about how good it was. “Husband found Melt on Instagram and wanted to try it. So we took the tram from Old Town just to eat early dinner there. Very good. I got the basic grilled cheese (forgot the exact name) and my husband had the Mac Daddy. We were both incredibly happy about our choices. This was the first time we visited and it was a fantastic dining experience. this is a Family business serving fine quality food in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We ordered the cheeseburger, the pizza burger, the teriyaki burger and corn dogs. “My husband was in a business dinner and they walked some of gaslamp afterwards. After they parted ways, he needed to use the bathroom so he ran in the closest restaurant. They said he couldn't use it unless he was a customer. I totally get that but they were packed out so it made no sense.... Either way, he bought a chicken quesadilla to go. He brought it back to the room for me and our sons to have. It tasted good...until my youngest son spit out a piece of plastic he found inside the quesadilla. My Husband called about it the next day bc they were then closed. Their response was "oops sorry" like wth?! They then said "bring it back along with the plastic." No mention of a refund or investigation of how it happened. And by that point, room service had come and took the box of the rest of the food plus no one wanted to fight downtown traffic and pay to park to have them possibly offer us another quesadilla . 🙄 Again the food we did eat, minus the plastic, was good but the service wasn't.“

“This place is great. The burgers are really good and fresh. The new location in the food court is a little confusing. I've been here a few times so I know what to do, but, the first time I came I had to ask twice where to order. It is not well laid out. Order to food delivery is 15 minutes, which, means the food is fresh and I appreciate that. Expect a great burger! 2 double burgers for 2 was around $30, which feels like a reasonable price for the quality of the burger.“

“Friends of Friends and Wavy Burgers - This is my favorite coffee shop in National city. It’s artistic, unique, and fun. I always find something new and delicious, and that’s selling it short. I’d take friends or family from out of town here, and I have. Definitely a highlight of National city and the owners should be very proud.

Only vice is sometimes the music is a touch too loud or vile with expletives over and over again… no thanks. Those days I just grab my food and dip. That’s a knock on an atmosphere star.

I will keep coming here! I’m a big fan of their orange Thai tea latte :)“
