I went in the afternoon, and even though it was pretty busy, the baristas were really quick and friendly—they even recommended a new drink to me, which is now my favorite.“

I stopped by one day to try the coffee and was so impressed that I came back the very next day. It’s rare for a place to leave that kind of impression so quickly, but Cafecito1806 did exactly that.

The owner is one of the kindest, warmest people I’ve met, and it shows in everything about the shop. Every cup of coffee is crafted with intention, care, love, and skill. The quality of the coffee and products is absolutely top-tier, and you can tell that nothing is done halfway.

And then there’s Milo. He is one of the cutest dogs I’ve ever met and the perfect addition to the experience. Seeing him around the shop instantly makes the space feel warm and welcoming. He brings a sense of comfort that makes Cafecito1806 feel less like a coffee shop and more like home. Milo truly ties the whole experience together.

What stands out most is the feeling you get when you’re there. Great coffee is one thing, but creating a space that feels genuine, welcoming, and memorable is something special. Cafecito1806 has mastered both.

Great location. Fabulous reviews. End veteran owned. I was super excited driving to this coffee shop. The parking is not great.

I thought the cortado was just okay. I could tell the coffee bean itself had good flavor, but the cortado fell flat, too much milk and served way too hot.

On a bright note, Trident has some amazing coffee shop stickers which my nieces will love. The best part, I was able to sip it on the porch in the morning California sun. It’s good to be home.

“We had awesome service by Dern! He was polite, friendly and outgoing. (Killer now tie too!) He made our experience so fun! I even witnessed his care for his customers as I watched him ensure an elderly man did not fall walking to the bathroom. Also, he seemed to interact positively with his teammates too. Thanks Dern! The facility and restrooms were clean. It was like stepping back in time. There are a lot of nostalgic things to take in. My husband and I split a classic hamburger, crinkle fries and a strawberry malt. All of it was delicious. My husband said, “if we lived here, I’d be a regular.”“

“Cristina and her crew at Better Buzz Coffee in Coronado deserve some love!

This was my first stop after stepping outside the Hotel del Coronado “compound” during a work retreat. Being a Kentucky guy, I honestly wasn’t expecting that same back-home welcome, but Cristina delivered from the moment I walked in.

She was super helpful and even brought Diego up from the back to help me figure out a protein-packed breakfast. That little extra effort says a whole lot about the people running a place.

With it being October, Cristina and I even connected over a personal story about cancer. It turned into a meaningful conversation that made the visit feel like more than just grabbing breakfast. Super personable, accommodating and welcoming.

For California, I felt the prices were more than fair. My food came out steaming hot, and the coffee? Perfecto!

Five stars for the people, food and atmosphere. One of the highlights of my trip. Sometimes stepping outside your routine leads you straight to good people and a great experience.

“This place has grown on me. I avoided this place because I’ve been dieting but the times that I’ve treated myself and my wife has never disappointed. So far the drinks have been great. The fruity pebz is sweet and delicious, and their Vietnamese coffee has you feeling so caffeinated with good energy. Their food options aren’t bad here either with their chicken fries. The atmosphere here is so nostalgic specifically to me it feels like it has a cool older big brother mid 2000’s gamer vibe almost like an Internet cafe style. It’s small but it gets the job done in terms of waiting to get your order and killing time while you wait. The workers themselves play a huge part. They are always so nice and polite (you guys need a tip jar btw). Overall been here a couple times and have never regretted it. They also treat their military patrons well offering discounts where applicable and love that they would give out those bogo deal coupons. They need to keep up what they’re doing! 👍🏽😁“

“This coffee kiosk located inside Plaza Bonita makes some pretty good coffee. I had an iced Americano with 2% Milk and a dusting on cinnamon.

The iced coffee was well made and quite flavorful. They initially did not put enough milk in the coffee so I had to ask for more. They offer locally baked goods.

They service was good. The young lady who took my order had a good sense of humor. It's a good spot for coffee while you are at the mall.“
