“poor service. food came not as ordered. took a long time to get food. had to flag down another waiter to get attention. party melt over cooked. 1 1/2 hour waist of time. both doors left open so we were swatting flying away from food“

“My kids and I stopped by Better Buzz Coffee in La Jolla on our way down to the beach, and we had such a great experience. We tried the iced lattes with vanilla and mocha, and both were really good, but I especially loved the iced latte. It was smooth, refreshing, and exactly what I needed before heading out to enjoy La Jolla.
The atmosphere and location of this coffee shop are amazing. It’s just a couple blocks away from the stunning views of La Jolla, the beach, the Children’s Pool, and Ellen Browning Scripps Park. It’s the perfect spot to grab a coffee before walking around or spending time by the ocean.
Great drinks, great vibe, and an unbeatable location. Definitely a 5-star coffee stop in La Jolla!“

“A special place for both long time locals and newbies. Good for a delicious double cappucino a long work session on the laptop.“

“As a first timer, they have great matcha from PARU. The matcha is already naturally sweet for those that enjoy without sugars and flavor enhancers. Almond croissant filling tastes artificial so I won’t be getting that again. Great laid back ambience with indoor and outdoor seating. Looking forward to coming back for the matcha and to try other menu food items.“

“Best croissant breakfast sandwich of my life. The service was efficient and friendly and all of our food was stellar. What a treat. Can’t wait to go back. (I couldn’t resist buying a brown butter chocolate chip cookie on my way out…WOW)“

“Pinpoint Café is the perfect little stop in the heart of La Jolla Village!
It’s perfectly placed for grabbing a coffee or sweet treat on the go — or settling in at one of their café tables to relax and do some prime people-watching.
The baristas are always friendly and welcoming, and everything feels thoughtfully made and served with a smile. Whether you’re in a rush or lingering in the sunshine, Pinpoint Café is a lovely neighborhood favorite you’ll want to visit again and again.“

“I want to say yes and recommend them. But I can't because I have a subscription to their coffee but they sent me the wrong coffee. it's been about a week, I've call a few times, left two voice mail messages, I've emailed as well and I have not gotten any response at all. The coffee I bought and subscribed to is good, but I can't continue to do business with a company that won't respond to their customers to fix their mistakes.“

“This spot is definitely gorgeous for a coffee break. Awesome view and clearly a local student/staff favorite. They grilled our egg salad sandwich in the panini maker and the iced matcha latte was delicious. The crew here helpful And warm. Also very quick. I only wish there was more “bar style” seating for those who tend to linger for hours on their own instead of taking up a whole table. It’s been super crowded with no seating the last few months bc people tend to stay for hours working. Which I totally understand. But for a UCSD alum like me, I may just wanna sit for half an hour maybe an hour at most and often there is no seating. That’s my only suggestion. Add single person searing. But I’ll definitely be back and hope to come before a “rush”. The line can get very long. (I get it. I used to work in a cafe at the Price Center and it was crazy there). Also would Love if they stayed open later. One can only hope.“

“Excellent venue. So fun to be in such a welcoming space. Good vibes all around. If you've never been, keep in mind this is not your typical concert venue - it's very small and very much a DIY set up, which is what makes it awesome.“

“Bought the mango dessert and chocolate dessert, both of them amazing! They had a crunch at the bottom and the overall texture made the whole pastry amazing!
If you sign up for their rewards they give you a free macroon! Highly recommended!“

“The employees are friendly and helpful, they serve a lot of staff and visitors, and the food is made mostly fresh. It’s better than other hospital cafeterias I’ve sadly had to visit also and it’s a major convenience for people to not leave the facilities for food. Food prices are totally reasonable also.“
“Great atmosphere and friendly staff! I only drink coffee which was a bit pricey but it was worth every penny :) There was even live music after 6:30pm. Highly recommended!
Parking is per hour but for coffee shop or dining, they charge flat rate of $7 unlimited hours. Great price for the area!“

“I love the salads here! Very creative fresh and delicious, the food makes you feel energized, thanks to the owner for her recommendation on what to get. It is a brand new place and they have so much to offer La Jolla, I can't wait to go back to see what they have next week!!
Vegetarian options: All vegan and so clean.“

“GREAT ATMOSPHERE: I was able to rescue a lost wallet with an inspirationally amazing triton officer here. Due to lack of training & favorism from fluctuating policies, I suffered. May that officer cheerfully smile always despite the challenges faced. Slightly sorry yet thankfully, DG.“

“I’m looking forward to coming back here! The coffees were probably an 8/10, but the pastries were a 1000000/10!!! So delicious ! The environment was also amazing. There is a beautiful outdoor seating area surrounded in plants, flowers, vines. Friendly for little kids and all size groups. I wish i lived closer… but it was worth the drive to La Jolla. I’d probably take friends or family visiting from out of town because i feel confident they would have a positive experience.“
