I have been a patron of the Living Room for 9 years now. The food, coffee, and hookahs are always excellent. Mazen, the manager always takes care of me when I’m there and his amazing service and hospitality is the biggest reason I will always stop by when I visit San Diego from OC. The new location is spacious and beautiful and their new food menu is great with options for everyone. Highly recommend their coffee and desserts ?.
I often wind up here during the later hours of the evening, since this is one of the few cafes open until 11pm. The interior is unique, designed to look like your grandma's living room, with a unique assortment of upholstered chairs and old tables. There's plenty of seating here, but the outlets are few and far between. During the day, there's a beautiful view where the ocean peaks out, but at night, the lighting can be a little dim. I like it! Spacious and plenty of seating. I entered this style into ChatGPT and it spit out "vintage Mediterranean revival". I could be wrong though. They have decent brunch food and coffee. I want to come back and try out the hookah lounge that opens after 4PM. I am hoping the experience is also good. I'm really curious how much rent this place costs. Did I mention this place is very spacious?!
