“Recently opened in my nighhborhood. Surprisingly very delicious pizza (half chicken/half dry meat). It is now my favorite pizza already. Owners are friendly and service was pretty fast. I'll come back to try other stuff on the menu.“

They grilled our egg salad sandwich in the panini maker and the iced matcha latte was delicious. The crew here helpful And warm. Also very quick. I only wish there was more “bar style” seating for those who tend to linger for hours on their own instead of taking up a whole table. It’s been super crowded with no seating the last few months bc people tend to stay for hours working. Which I totally understand. But for a UCSD alum like me, I may just wanna sit for half an hour maybe an hour at most and often there is no seating. That’s my only suggestion. Add single person searing. But I’ll definitely be back and hope to come before a “rush”. The line can get very long. (I get it. I used to work in a cafe at the Price Center and it was crazy there). Also would Love if they stayed open later. One can only hope.“

We ordered the Open Mind Fat Burner, Mexicano Latte, Acai Bowl, and Turkey Bacon Avocado Croissant. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious - we wanted to savor every bite!! The staff is so friendly and Camile customized the Turkey Bacon Avo without the bread for me, as I am gluten free. We only had 2 days left in SD and went back to Chiefy Cafe and ordered the same thing each day. Camile & Larissa assisted us and were awesome! HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHIEFY CAFE!!“

“This coffee spot was just a 5 min walk from our Airbnb. The atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and relaxing. The staff were friendly and attentive, and you can tell they care about quality and customer experience.

To drink, we ordered toasted coconut cold brews, the coffee was delicious, smooth and very flavorful. We also ordered a deluxe avocado toast, and egg salad toast- the sourdough was so good, thick cut, loaded with avocado, arugula, 2 poached eggs and topped with sun-dried tomatoes. Whether you’re looking for a quick coffee run or a cozy place to sit and unwind, this place is definitely worth visiting.

“It tastes very fresh Açaí to me. I was wondering that how they can bring the Açaí berries from Brazil to USA with keep fresh. It is very healthy fruit. It has antioxidants. If you wish to add-on, you can try Pão de Queijo. You can get "Guarana Antarctica" soda for drink. I would like to strongly recommend you give a try them. Go there! 😄“

“It's so hard to find healthy breakfast options at restaurants, but they have a great selection! Got the cauliflower bowl and added eggs, and it was fantastic. Service was friendly and the seating was nice. I wasn't with any kids, but they have a lot of kid-friendly seating as well if you do have kids.“

I definitely wasn’t expecting this. Thank you! Changed my rating… only a 4 because sometimes there’s only one person working and they get overwhelmed causing a super long wait.

I know the girls are trying especially when they’re solo. I tip no matter what because I know how hard it is to hold down the place alone. I’ve seen them calmly handle chaos we waited 20-30 mins the last time we went. But can we please get my order right and stop putting the honey on top… the drizzle just ends up stuck to the lid. I always ask for the honey on top of the granola so this doesn’t happen. I’m sure other customers would like this too. The Highlands location always got it right… but they’re no longer there. It would be nice if it was more than a drizzle too. Thanks“

The owner was extremely welcoming and friendly, and he even overheard we were visiting from out of town so he recommended some activities and dinner places to try while we were visiting! “Pretty good food but they always burn their bagels. Reeeeally good smoothies and coffee. Pretty good service, sometimes they don't greet you at all and just look at you sort of annoyingly until you order. Never seen a dude working here and their sign says something like "brunch, brew, and babes" which makes me also think they only hire women which seems a little messed up. Overall, I come here because the smoothies and coffee are phenomenal.“
