“If you love great coffee, this is the place to visit in San Diego. It's a small, intentionally crafted coffee shop that's focused on doing one thing exceptionally well—serving amazing coffee alongside a selection of delicious local pastries. They even have hot chocolate for the little ones (or the grown-ups who don't quite share the coffee obsession). Jacob is every bit the reason why shopping local matters he brings the warmth and passion that is missing from other chain shops. It's the kind of place that keeps you coming back.“
“I'm so happy I found this coffee shop! It's a lovely hidden treasure with a spotless, bright, and cozy interior. It was a cozy spot to relax because every table and nook was spotless. The pastries were delicious, buttery, and fresh, and the latte was flavorful and smooth. The visit was enhanced by welcoming service and a tranquil setting. “I was recently in the Imperial Beach area and stopped by Trident Coffee. I went with the breakfast burrito which was made with a Gluten Free Tortilla, eggs, sausage, cheese, hash browns, garlic, and onion. It was absolutely delicious. I really appreciated how the ingredients were chopped up really small. They also had chipotle mayo available on the side but I did not try that.
For the coffee, I went with a decaf salted caramel mocha iced cold brew with oat milk, 15/10. So good.
The service was great, the gals working at the register were so nice. In addition, the place was very clean. My total for the two items, including tax was $23.67.
If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely be stopping by.“

“The coffee is here is excellent. Cold brew is spectacular black. It needs no sugar or milk. Smooth and sweet all by itself. Iced Aztec Mocha is a perfect blend of espresso, chocolate and milk. Skip Starbucks. Highly recommend!“
“We were visiting San Diego for the 4th of July and happened to come across this wonderful coffee shop after walking around for a while. It was the perfect place to relax and take a break. The coffee was excellent, the music created a great atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Reyna is the best, she is so friendly. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.“

“I was looking for a coffee shop in this neighborhood and was happy to come across this place. It’s located in a small shopping plaza with a limited-time parking lot, which is really convenient since parking around here can be a bit of a challenge. I stopped by around 10:30 on a weekday, and it wasn’t too busy. They have a few small indoor tables along with some high-top seating, making it a great spot to study or get some work done. It ended up being a really productive place for me.The barista was very friendly, and I ordered a latte to enjoy there. It was delicious, although I was a little disappointed that they don’t offer “for here” cups.“

Unfortunately their breakfast sandwich is a huge disappointment. Middle was still cold, I asked them to heat it some more and they did until the croissant was basically burnt and the middle still was not fully heated. They desperately need to change the design or cooking method of their sandwich“

“I visited Nibbles for the first time in PB today with a Senior Tour Group. It was fantastic!! I had the Mocha drink and it was soo delicious!!! But not to mention their Chocolates!! They were tasty and could not get enough!! A much stop and visit place for sure!!!! And the owners a most wonderful couple!!! Loved it and will be back!!!“

“Best nitro cold brew I've found in San Diego. DropKick has genuinely spoiled me for other canned cold brews. The nitro pour is the whole show — they infuse nitrogen into every can before sealing it, which gives the coffee a thick, creamy texture without any milk or sugar added. Shake it hard, crack it slow, and you get that cascading nitro pour right out of the can, no keg required. I've worked through most of the lineup — Original, Vanilla with Maple, Cinnamon Turmeric, Bold Brew, and Horchata — and Bold Brew is my go-to when I need an actual jolt (340 mg of caffeine per can vs. 220 mg in the rest of the lineup). Horchata is the one I hand to friends who claim they "don't really like coffee" — it converts them every time. What sold me beyond the taste: it's actually roasted, brewed, canned, and kegged locally here in San Diego. If you're grabbing a can, keep it cold and give it a solid shake before opening — that's what activates the nitro. Highly recommend for anyone who wants coffeehouse-quality cold brew without leaving the fridge.“

But I can't because I have a subscription to their coffee but they sent me the wrong coffee. it's been about a week, I've call a few times, left two voice mail messages, I've emailed as well and I have not gotten any response at all. The coffee I bought and subscribed to is good, but I can't continue to do business with a company that won't respond to their customers to fix their mistakes.“
